George Carlin Dies
George Carlin, the comedian who established the seven words that cannot be spoken over the airwaves, is no longer with us. He won't be winning any posthumous awards for countermoonbattery, but he knew enough to ridicule environmentalists:
On a tip from Wiggins.

Carlin would eat your soul with a throwaway joke.

Carlin was over-rated. He is famous mostly for having a foul mouth spewing obscenities and not much else. He was a very disturbed bitter man.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Carlin#Religion
"Although raised in the Roman Catholic faith, Carlin often denounced the idea of God in interviews and performances, most notably with his "Invisible Man in the Sky" and "There Is No God" routines. In mockery, he invented the parody religion Frisbeetarianism for a newspaper contest. He defined it as the belief that when a person dies "his soul gets flung onto a roof, and just stays there", and cannot be retrieved."
I guess he is now finding out if he was right or wrong. If he was wrong, I guess he is no longer cracking tasteless jokes.

Yep. Have to echo most of what "anon" wrote. I wasn't so offended by the f words (hey, I've used 'em but am not proud of that fact). I wasn't offended by his anti-establishment philosophy either, after all, most rules, regulations etc. are b.s. anyway. But to relegate all purpose to nothingness, to discard our Creator and dismiss any meaning to life is just wrong. Nature screams of genius, creativity and utter, unabashed God-love thrown in to make this planet work. I liked some of Carlin's work. But any man who turns his back on Life is a sorry waste. I have to work hard to pray for folks like this. I will anyway but wonder if he'd even want me to.
