Even Moonbats Disgusted by McClellan's Profiteering
Possibly the most thoroughly contemptible person currently infesting our political scene is former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan. A floundering mediocrity, McClellan was kept on his position longer than he should have been, apparently due to Bush's famous loyalty. This loyalty has been repaid with a nasty book denouncing W in exchange for profit.
Normally Mr. Nice Guy, Bob Dole couldn't contain his contempt:
There are miserable creatures like you in every administration who don’t have the guts to speak up or quit if there are disagreements with the boss or colleagues. No, your type soaks up the benefits of power, revels in the limelight for years, then quits, and spurred on by greed, cashes in with a scathing critique.
Even the kooks at MoveOn.org, though unhinged by their hatred of the President, are disgusted that McClellan will make a fortune for being a perfidious insect. They're calling on him to turn over his profits to veterans of the wars he supported but now denounces.
Then there's this from former DNC head Terry McAuliffe:
I find it abhorrent the way these people come out and write books about their boss. It made 'em money, it made 'em prestige, it gave them all this power and then they turn around and slap 'em. I don't care who it is — Democrat, Republican — it's wrong.
Too bad for McClellan if he thought his Benedict Arnold act would turn him into a hero on the Left. But at least he still gets all the money.

On tips from Byron and Matt L.

Interesting that, so say the same thing a different way, they are bashing him for taking a play right out of the Democrat Party Play Book.

The media is eating this up...
But when Stephanopoulos wrote a book about Bill Clinton in 1999, they called him a "turncoat," a "backstabber," and an "ingrate."

Oh, it gets better. The source of McClellan's claims that all the evidence used to sell the War in Iraq is "propaganda"? Other people's books and magazine articles.

NO! McClellan was depending on rumor and enuendo? Holy shi'ite, Batman! Who'd a thunk? Well, Dan Rather IS his hero.
The dumbass will never work again for either party. No one will want him as a commentator, he won't even be invited to Washington dinner parties - so he can't steal Horses'devours - the boy's gonna starve.

Scott: just like Arnold, you're anathema to all sides now, never to be trusted with anything more than a couple of bucks to run down to the store for some cold drinks. Your professional life is finito. I also understand that America-loving George Soros had a hand in "editing" your (so-called) book; no wonder it's so favorable to GWB!
Hilarious to see Terry "The Punk" McAuliffe calling out McClellan. Hey, Punk!: Pot. Kettle. Black.
