Canadian Court Overrules 12-Year-Old's Grounding
To destroy the family, the liberal State must displace parents. This has led to bureaucratic micromismanagement in Canada, where a court has overturned a 12-year-old's grounding.
Using a taxpayer-financed lawyer, a little girl took her father to court for refusing to allow her to go on a school trip as punishment for visiting websites he had tried to block. But she appealed to a higher parent — the State — which indulgently told the little darling she could go.

not to mention the reason she was grounded: Dad told her she couldn't use their computer to post nekkid pics of he 12 year old self. So she went to a friend's house and did it anyway.
Good thing the state intervened. Wouldn't want parents to be able to tell their 12 year olds not to become porn stars.

Yet had this girl hooked up with a deviant who saw her pictures on the Internet and ended up either molested or dead, the father might have been prosecuted for not fully supervising her activities...for not doing what he could to prevent such a tragedy. Even if he had not ended up in court, the court of public opinion would have made the rest of his life a living hell.
Damned if you do...

Guess the apple didn't fall far from the tree in this case... mom and dad spend a DECADE hiring lawyers to attack each other over the kid, so the kid uses a lawyer to attack the dad.
It doesn't make the judge's asshat ruling any less unfathomable, but it does explain why the kid is the way she is. Good job, mom and dad!

You just can't make this stuff up. Modern liberalism has pushed self-parody to such an extreme that no debasement of the individual seems impossible, no intrusion into family life is off limits.
