Bishop Gordon Mursell Compares Hoax Deniers to Josef Fritzl

Barack Obama's longtime friends Jeremiah Wright and Michael Pfleger don't have a monopoly on spewing unhinged moonbattery from the pulpit. Reverend Gordon Mursell, Bishop of Stafford in the leftist cult that blasphemously refers to itself as the Church of England, incongruously compares those unwilling to be duped by the global warming hoax to the fiendish Josef Fritzl.

Fritzl was recently arrested after breeding a large captive family with his own daughter in a dungeon under his house. What that has to do with refusing to drink the climate change Kool-Aid, only a moonbat could explain. Rev. Mursell gives it a try, screeching that by hesitating to plunge the world into a depression and turn over totalitarian control to the government in the name of a discredited hoax,

We are in effect locking our children and grandchildren into a world with no future and throwing away the key.

The global warming farce would seem to have as little to do with religion as it does with Josef Fritzl. But as Jill Kirby of the Centre for Policy Studies observes,

Climate change has achieved the status of an alternative religion.

Having lost faith in Christ, the Church of England retains its belief in the Devil — defined as anyone who does not conform to establishment ideology. Sociology professor Frank Furedi of Kent University explains:

Focusing on the current anxieties about the future of the planet is a fruitful way of rediscovering Satan. Demonologists in pre-modern times argued that scepticism about witchcraft was a form of heresy that had to be punished. Now, scepticism towards the received wisdom on global warming, or on public health issues such as AIDS, is described as "denial." Denial has been transformed into a generic evil. History shows that crusades against heretics and demons have a nasty habit of disorienting society and undermining civilized and humanist behavior.

Only the positive aspects of Christianity are being rotted out of existence by liberalism. The dark side that brought us witch-burnings and the Inquisition is alive and well and fashionably green.

Make no mistake, the hysterical intensity of leftist hatred has been validated and inflamed by the media-driven "green" movement, Obamania and fear on the right of being seen as politically incorrect.

I have tried to have a non-confrontational conversation about "Global Warming Cooling Climate Crisis" with some libs. They literally get red in the face, start shouting hatred towards ANYONE who could be so stupid as to disagree WITH THE CONSENSUS. Don't I realize that THE DEBATE IS OVER?

They will then go into their hypnotic, pre-memorized script of Global Doom if we don't become "Green" (i.e. socialists...so why not call it "Red" and be done with it?). You can ask them anything, and they just keep talking, ignoring questions, reeling off their talking points...over and over and over and over and over and over an...

This above story is the most disturbing development yet, however. The CHURCH, right? Do this or GOD WILL BE ANGRY. When you start scaring people with the threat of their eternal soul on the line, it takes it to another dimension.

The church becoming an arm of the Green party, and accusing people of terrible things if they disagree. Now, who was it again that the Bible refers to as "the Accuser"? You know, that guy that always points fingers and says "you are not worthy"?

Pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name...

The Bible makes no mention of Earth being destroyed by GLOBAL WARMING. Real Christians will never submit to this lie, nor to the death cult of ISLAM.

Matt, sorry, that one zipped right past me. Never was a big Stones fan (although I'm plenty old enough to be).

Oh, and, uh, please... don't call me Shirley.
