Bad Hair Day

Third World colonizers certainly are catching on to how you get ahead in the West — by posing as a victim and suing. A London hair salon is now on the brink of bankruptcy after being ordered to pay 19-year-old Bushra Noah $7,800 because her feelings were hurt when it failed to hire her. The job entailed showing her hair, which as a Muslim she made clear in advance she would not do.

Here's a terrifying paragraph:

[The owner] was unable to prove to the court that employing someone with a headscarf would have a negative impact on her business' stylistic integrity, The Mail reported.

The idea that you could prove such a thing in court is preposterous. But what's worse: what kind of totalitarian dystopia are we living in if private citizens have to justify how they run their businesses to moonbatty, authoritarian courts that don't know the first thing about them?

Meanwhile, a Sikh is suing Disney World for $1 million, claiming it wouldn't hire him as a trumpet player because the turban and conspicuously neglected personal grooming characteristic of his religion didn't fit the Disney look. According to Disney, the guy never even applied for a job. But they'll no doubt settle for something in the six-figure range.

More and more I keep thinking Ayn Rand had it right in "Atlas Shrugged". It's time that the Producers go on strike and "turn off the motor of the world".

Without Producers, the Parasites will have nothing to loot, be it tax money, frivolous law suits or any other kind of institutional theft.

Who is John Galt?

So the Muslim chick won, eh? I remember that story when it first came out.

Note this near the end of the story: The extremist Muslim group Hizb ut-Tahrir later admitted it had "advised her."

Shock...not!

But I don't know why I am surprised; the UK is much further down the Road to Moonbattery than we are. But we have our contingent doing its best to follow along like good little socialists.

OTOH,
*E.U. Passes Tough Migrant Measure*
STRASBOURG, France — European Union lawmakers voted Wednesday to allow undocumented migrants to be held in detention centers for up to 18 months and banned from European Union territory for five years.

for "undocumented migrant" substitute "illegal immigrant."

Walt Disney himself would not be able to get a job at one of his theme parks, so why is this guy complaining?

Van, you've used that picture at least three times now... and every time, it still cracks me up.

That guy looks like he's already employed.

So the standard is "proof of a negative," eh? Impossible, of course, but what are realities to a Moonbat justice system? We can only hope that Disney, the corporation, will grow a pair (as it were) and tell this idiot to go to Hell.

Yep, we really do need to go to a "loser pays" system, resulting in a precipitous drop in facakta lawsuits and massive unemployment of the "slip-n-fall" type of lawyers.
