Al Gore's Carbon Footprint Keeps Getting Bigger
I seem to recall that after the Goracle was revealed to be a phony, one of whose homes used 20 times the power of a normal family, we were told that he would make it all better by installing solar panels or windmills or whatever. As with everything pertaining to the Goracle, these assurances were false:
In the year since Al Gore took steps to make his home more energy-efficient, the former Vice President's home energy use surged more than 10%, according to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research. […] In the past year, Gore's home burned through 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month.
It's not that Gore didn't try to make his house green. It's just that the environmentalist gestures ecofascists like himself keep demanding don't actually do any good:
Despite adding solar panels, installing a geothermal system, replacing existing light bulbs with more efficient models, and overhauling the home's windows and ductwork, Gore now consumes more electricity than before the "green" overhaul.
Since taking steps to make his home more environmentally-friendly last June, Gore devours an average of 17,768 kWh per month —1,638 kWh more energy per month than before the renovations — at a cost of $16,533. By comparison, the average American household consumes 11,040 kWh in an entire year, according to the Energy Information Administration.
But intentions and ideological conformity are all that count, not actual results, right moonbats? Otherwise this would be all over the news. They might even take his Oscar and Grammy and Ignoble Putz Prize away.

Well, them CFL bulbs take forever to warm up, so I guess ol' Al is just leaving them on...consuming more energy.
Oh, and the solar panels don't do well in cloudy weather or at night.
And he's been busy saving the planet, so the computers and fax machines and TVs have been a'goin' all the time.
And no one in the house likes it too warm or too cold (and hey, they ARE the Gore family...more special than the rest of us) so you gotta set the thermostat where it keeps 'em happy.
Then there are the SUVs, the private jets, the endless travel...but I'm sure he's paying some poor, dumb bastard to swelter or shiver or stay in the dark as a "carbon offset".
So you see? Al Gore is doing his part. Don't you just want to slap him?

Some quick calculations show that if he used to guzzle 20 times the national average, now he gluttons down 22 times us commoners.

I hate hypocrites. I especially hate ones who want to deny me my freedom while all but gorging on the very thing I need to sustain my Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Carbon footprint my ass.
