Witness Sues over Having to Look at Crime Scene

Another lunatic lawsuit from suburban New York:

A van driver who claims he is suffering post-traumatic stress after he was forced to stay near the uncovered body of slain Mount Vernon Police Officer Christopher Ridley is planning to sue White Plains and Westchester County.
Antonio Howard saw four Westchester County officers shoot Ridley on Jan. 25 outside county office buildings on Court Street in White Plains. He says that he then was kept in his van by White Plains police for about an hour as they investigated the shooting and that he since has suffered panic attacks, insomnia and other mood changes that have damaged his personal life and left him unable to work.

Ridley, who was off duty, was shot by mistake when he failed to identify himself as an officer or put down his gun. There will of course also be a wrongful death lawsuit. Whenever anything happens, taxpayers get sued.

On a tip from Wiggins.

I might have to sue whoever published that picture of Bill Ayers stomping the American Flag.
I will be suffering PTSD remembering all my family member who served in the armed forces so this guy can stomp our flag and talk all his smack.
Why are we not hearing more about him and Obama in the news?

Wasn't closing the ozone hole the trendy environmental cause of decades past? Honestly, do these people even reference their past hoaxes before cooking up new ones to see if they might contradict? Ten years from now we'll be told that the closing ozone hole and lower carbon emissions are together causing the earth to freeze over. Not to worry, though. We can count on these same idiots to warm us up nicely with the steady stream of alarmist hot air emitting from the only holes that, in spite of science's best efforts, can never seem to be closed.

...then you think about what Elisabeth Fritzl and her children have been through, and you realise you should never complain about anything ever again.

Wrong artical, Tom. But I agree with you 100 percent!

Now that I thought about it, the POSSIBLE reason the cops kept Mr. Howard there was because they realised how serious the incident was and they wanted to have someone who could testify that they didn't TAMPER WITH the crime scene in an effort to cover their butts.

Thanks, Ian. I'll move it on over.

Sorry Tom, not sure if we're at crossed purposes here. I was just commenting on suffering, I wasn't commenting on your comment even though mine followed yours, if you see what I mean :)
