Yes, unless the Denver police are properly prepared, things are going to get REALLY ugly there in August. Recreate '68's leader/ spokesman Glenn Spagnuolo keeps claiming that they will be nonviolent, but even just a cursory examination of the websites for Recreate '68 and the various anarchist groups affiliated with it makes it quite clear that nothing could be farther from the truth. Those groups are fully preparing to start a fight and destroy as much of the city as possible, Spags is just trying to cover his butt so he won't get hit with criminal charges when violence inevitably DOES break out.

If anyone thinks that if Clinton gets the nomination, regardless of what the "leaders in the Dhimmicrat Party think" or how many times Obama takes a spiritual and political beat down between now and the convention, there won't be riots among the ObamaBorg from coast to coast... well, they are not in touch with reality. There are just too many that can't see that Obama is big trouble for this country, regardless of how many questionable things are discovered in regard to his character. It just blows me away.

I've been keeping up with some conservative blogs that have been monitoring Recreate '68, such as Slapstick Politics and the Drunkablog, and on one of them it's said that, as bad as things will be in August when the DNC comes around, the rioting will be ten times worse if Clinton gets the nomination.

Denver might get ugly but just wait until November.

If Obama gets the nomination, as he almost certainly will, and he loses the general election, which he very likely will, then there will be riots in the streets topping the 60's race riots, especially if the election is close. All the grievance-mongering race baiters/haters will take this as the ultimate insult and (along with the opportunistic thugs and anarchists who just like to steal and tear shit up) take to the streets to create mayhem. Remember the Rodney King verdict? This time it will be nationwide.

If you don't own a firearm, you might want to consider getting one before November.

They're not even Anarchists, but Anti-Capitalists. Screw 'em. I could give a rat's ass whether they burn their convention to the ground or not. As much as I don't like the police, I hope they crack skulls when and if the time comes.

I hope that the people of Denver remember one thing: durring the Rodney King riots, the only property that wasn't looted and/or burned was the ones that were protected by ARMED civilians, the police and National Guard didn't do much good.

In the absence of effective police protection, the merchants resorted to vigilante tactics. I remember when the National Guard came in, the were evacuating portions of the city. They came up to a business that the owners had kept it free from looting and vandalizing because they were on the roof with semi-auto weapons. The NG forced them out. The NG told the Koreans that the NG would protect their business. Reluctantly, the owner left, only to have their lively hood burn to the ground less than 24 hours later.

I don't know the laws in Colorado, but I hope its citizens do.
