I think it's possible for individual gay people to be decent people, but gay culture as whole is pretty depraved. It may be another case where the gays who are perverted lefty militants make the other 15% look bad.

The difference is between those who want to behave according to mainstream values and those who want to replace mainstream values with their own depraved values.

In other news, from my own benighted isle, government cartelisation continues apace as they prepare to ban people from learning to drive with anyone other than a government approved instructor, so no more first tentative trips onto the road with a nervous dad in the passenger seat then. Sigh.

The logic is particularly tortured, since the justifying excuse here is to reduce the number of road deaths caused by people who've been driving for less than 2 years (300 per annum apparently). Why the magic figure of 2 years, rather than 1 or 3 or 2 years 3 months or whatnot is invoked, we can only guess. Since we can presume that this means people after they've passed their test, then that would suggest the problem (if problem there is indeed- there is no context for this 300 in first 2 years figure for comparison) would seem to be that the test isn't rigorous enough or something. Why exactly instructors from a government cartel teaching will make any difference defies analysis.

Anyway. Just another thing that goes from being normal to illegal, while stuffing money into the pockets of an approved guild. People haven't yet woken up to this stealthy reconstitution of the mediaeval guild system. The original was set up by Diocletian and heralded the collapse of Rome and the Dark Ages, just as a comparison.

Maybe he could hook up with Ron Paul - what a pair those would make. Both men have good points but that doesnt change the fact that neither is electable. Give it a rest. The only 3rd party candidate that had a shot was H Ross Perot in 1992 where he got 20% of the vote. Then he went nuts and faded away.... Even then he didnt really have a chance with the electoral college voting. As long as the current system remains in place it will always be a Democrat or Republican in the White House.

Thanks for acknowleding the fact that not all of us gays are evil. That is at least a start.

I am uncomfortable with many aspects of gay culture but you still need to judge people on an individual basis - and not make assumptions about them based on their sexual orientation.

I pretty much agree with you on that Lee, but the mantra used to be that adults can do what they want to in the privacy of their bedrooms.

But that's just not good enough anymore. Now we have these folks banging on pots and pans at events, and worse, guys corn-holing themselves with dildos in the middle of public streets out in San Francisco (see at zombietime if you dare).

Having the right to get gay, predicably, hasn't been enough. It's gotta be in everyone's face now. The same goes for all groups demanding special privilages.
