McCain Backs Free Healthcare for Illegal Aliens
Now that John McCain (aka Lettuce McAmnesty) has learned his lesson regarding closing the border so that our economy isn't crushed under an avalanche of invading Third-World colonists like something out of The Camp of the Saints, he's backing an ingenious scheme to keep illegal aliens out of the country — offer them free healthcare:
Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) is backing the renewal of a $250 million-a-year program that will pay illegal immigrants' hospital bills.
If socialized medicine here turns out anything like it has in Britain, it ought to send illegals running for the border. Who says the country club Republican establishment has no ideas?
An alternative would be to have hospitals ask about immigration status in advance, so they can at least be deported after running up massive bills they have no intention of paying. That might even make them less likely to treat emergency rooms as free clinics, clogging them up with minor complaints.
But just handing the money over to hospitals with no strings attached is sure to make illegals think twice about planting anchor babies in a country run by lunatics.

On a tip from V the K.

The candidate named 'Other' will get the most votes, but who will win?
Posted by: Oiao at May 26, 2008 10:42 AM
If this is McCain's position, I'm just not going to vote.
Let the Dems win and let America get what it deserves...MORE illegals, a collapsed health care system, a collapsed infrastructure, a collapsed economy, a collapsed legal system and...ulitmately...a socialist "nanny state" government that will destroy whatever is left of the United States as we knew it.
The PERFECT ruined country that will be ripe for a Moslem take-over. Might take a few years, but once the bulwark of a free republic is gone, once there is as much suffering, privation and chaos as the old Soviet Union, once blacks and hispanics find out how disenfranchised they can REALLY be, Islam will waltz in, convert the angry, unemployed masses and that will be that.
Sorry, but SCREW John McCain.

So his wife is going to pay for it? Barr is looking better every day now.

Barr is looking better every day now.
No doubt about it! He's got my vote! I figure I lose no matter which one of the 2 major parties wins. Might as well go down swinging....

$250 million to treat illegals? Shit, and here I am making not enough to afford med insurance but too much to qualify for gummint assistance. Next time I get sick, I'm gonna call myself 'Juan' and speak nothing but Esperanto. That'll throw 'em for a loop.

Writing in a no-way-gonna-win?
Not going to vote?
Well, thats intelligent as all hell. What kind of shorshit is that?
If the good guys don't have enough sense to vote for McCain over the two cloven hooved Dems, then we ain't got a chance. Pull the wild hair out of your asses and vote for whomever it takes to deep six the Democrat. At least with a McCain we'd have a fighting chance.
Dayum! This is a no-brainer folks.

You're aware that Barr is an ACLU scumbag, right?
Posted by: Kristy at May 26, 2008 2:15 PM
Right on, Andy.
I hate McCain just a little less than Obama, but there's no way I'm gonna throw my vote away on a third party candidate that has ZERO chance of winning. If you do, don't come around here complaining when Obama wins because YOU helped elect him.

Hey, Lettuce, why not play a hand of solitaire to pass the time?
Queen of Spades is it?
Mwhahahahahaha!

Sorry can't vote for Barr, I watched the Libertarian convention and I gotta say if we could take over the party and get rid of the whack jobs in charge of it now then the GOP could kiss my pimply white ass! But alas it is not going to happen so I will vote for MCclettuce and keep working to get real conservatives back in charge of the GOP.

Andy, I believe you meant "horseshit". I'll tell you what is horseshit: they're here illegally and you "punish" them by giving them free healthcare.
If McCain gets in, it means we give a vote of confidence to the Republican party to "stay on course". No sir, not this time. Not me. I'd rather see Obama sink us into the toilet. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, it would get so bad so fast that conservatism would make a real comback. I HATE saying this, but what are the choices?
If we stay this course, it'll be year after year of working harder and harder to screw ourselves more and more. We need to take a page from "Atlas Shrugged" and "turn off the motor of the world". Without our (hard working conservatives) help, the "give it to us" entitlement crowd would be hard pressed to find a handout.
Please. Someone. Convince me I'm wrong here.

If McCain wins, the Republican party will take the lesson "Go hard left on everything but defense."
Sorry, but a guy who's a moonbat on every issue but one is still a moonbat.

Depressing... just utterly depressing... so far I haven't given up my plan of "voting against the democrat" by voting for McCain, but stories like this don't make it any easier to stick to that plan. I don't want to punish the GOP by punishing myself and my country even more than we will be with McCain.
Posted by: PabloD at May 26, 2008 4:44 PM
If you don't punish them, how are they ever going to learn?
Posted by: V the K at May 26, 2008 4:59 PM
VtK: good question. What lesson would the GOP take away from a loss in November? Would the leadership say "oops, next time we'll run a true conservative and give people a real choice," or would they say "I guess we have to find another RINO candidate who is more attractive to swing voters next time"?
Sometimes, the dog is too stupid to figure out why you're smacking its butt with the newspaper...
