Homosexual Militants Go After eHarmony

eHarmony is a successful dating site targeting those interested in marriage and family rather than sleazy short-term hookups. Founded by a Christian, it is far too wholesome to be tolerated by moonbats, who are enraged that it doesn't facilitate the spread of AIDS through homosexual depravity.

In a crime against political correctness, eHarmony only offers the options "man seeking woman" and "woman seeking man" — there's no way to enter preferences like "pervert seeking boy."

Imagine living in a country so twisted by decadence and authoritarianism that the State will not permit a heterosexual dating site. Depending on the outcome of a legal jihad by homosexual militants, we may already live in such a country — to the apparent delight of Newsweek.

On a tip from Wound.

Typical moonbat tactic... don't start your own dating service. No! Because that would involve spending your own money and assuming the financial risk yourself. Nope, you have to sue someone else and demand that they let you in.

The homosexuals will probably win in CA, as CA legislation establishes homosexuality as a protected class at least in regards to employment. It's likely there's legislation establishing this status in other social areas as well. I believe, though I am not certain and am too lazy to look it up, that an amendment to the CA constitution says the same. So the judge, as he or she must, will find eharmony's policies to be violative of the equal protection clause in the CA constitution. CA voters get what they deserve.

Oh how I yearn for freedom! (As the perverts on the left plots and schemes to eliminate all of our rights and use the Constitution for recycle fodder).

anyone happen to catch the last few sentences of the article, in which heterosexual marriage is derided as a Christian value not shared in the "mainstream" "wider world"

So, a man and woman, married, raising a family, is now defined as a a fringe kink, basically.

These people are completely insane.

Can we sue all the gay dating sites for discriminating against heterosexuals then? Or the gay-porn sites? Or PFLAG for failing to provide counsel for heterosexual teens?

I really don't see what this woman's outrage is. If eHarmony bases its practices on Christianity so be it. That's not a crime (yet). The market has already adjusted to meet the needs of people excluded by eHarmony. The article even mentions the Chemistry dating site, thereby undercutting her own argument. This is just another excuse for another liberal to rail against something they doesn't like.

P.S. I don't get Newsweek, but is their "Belief Watch" a sort of JihadWatch?
