Catholic School Sued for Asking Students to Speak English
So much for even a pretense of assimilation. Spanish-speaking colonists are suing a Catholic school in Kansas for requiring that kids speak English:
Four Wichita families filed a discrimination lawsuit Monday in federal court against St. Anne Catholic School over a policy that requires English to be spoken at all times during the school day. The lawsuit calls for an end to St. Anne's policy, an order barring English-only or similar policies at other diocese schools and $75,000 for court and other costs.
Bleats diocese spokesman Fred Solis:
We have to disagree with the notion that the church, or the diocese or St. Anne for that matter is or has discriminated against any member of a minority group given our history, and the many ways that, even today, we go about to speak out on behalf of immigrants, minorities and the many services we offer to those groups of people.
The Catholic church certainly has gone out of its way to pander to political correctness, and to enable illegal immigration. Being thanked with lawsuits is entirely predictable.

St. Anne Catholic School I would think that would be considered a private school. Therefore they should be able to do what they want.
My guess this will be another case of Government attacking a private entity

Let's get rid of all language, oral as well as written.
We should all just grunt and point (like liberals).
How is it Mexicans are being discriminated against for having to listen/speak English, but Americans are not being discriminated against for having to listen/speak mexican?
These particular mexicans w/lawyers are dipshits to the Nth degree.

If the families wanted their kids to learn in spanish, why didn't they stay in Mexico? Were they actually planning on their kids getting a good education despite not being able to speak the native tongue?

This is pure nonsense and I don't believe it, what? it be on the intardnet so it must be true?!?. Having grown up and gone to school with anchor babies there is no way in hell any Mexican parent would do this. Period, no exceptions.
I had classmates' parents that would not let them talk Spanish when they had friends over.

The Church has asked for it.
Illegal Immigrants have been taught to treat politeness with weakness. The church is now perceived to be weak.
They pandered to the Illegals, let them get sued for it.

What YOU experienced has nothing to do with the rest of reality, Parker. We are told constantly that 'ALL muslims are not terrorists'. Fair enough, but that means that SOME muslims ARE terrorists, just the same as 'ALL illeagal alliens don't make waves', but several thousand do! What you refuse to think of is that these illeagals can sue and WIN (It has happened before). Even if they get deported, they will go home richer and that may be what they are counting on.
