Barney Frank Promises to Cut Troops' Air Hose
Remember what the Dems did to our allies in South Vietnam? By cutting promised funding, they facilitated a communist takeover, leading the way to the boat people, the Killing Fields, and millions of deaths. Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), chairman of the House Financial Services committee, promises that if his fellow Dems win in November, he'll do the same to our troops fighting al Qaeda in Iraq.

I will move to cut funding immediately. I have already done that. I voted against the war and voted to cut the funding. I would hope a Democratic president would put in place a plan that would begin a total withdrawal.
No serious person denies that the consequences would be catastrophic. But with the media's help, they can be hung around the neck of Republicans.

Maybe Barney should cut back funding for AIDS research, which is way over funded, compared to its public health importance (incidence, prevalence, morbidity, and mortality). Redirect some of the money to cancer and heart disease research instead.

Every time I read stories about politicians from Massachusetts, I am given to reflect upon the history of that state.
It has a rich history, you hear about the Pilgrims landing at Plymouth Rock, leading some people to believe that the first Europeans made the first permanent settlement in the New World there. That is historically incorrect.
Some people think the Revolutionary War was was started and fought to the end in that region. Not true.
So, fast-forwarding the VCR of history to the present, we have a mayor of Boston that would make Bozo the clown look smart, A US Senator who is an alcoholic, a US Senator who is a known Traitor, and a US Representative who takes it in the ass every day, not because his ideas were defeated in Congress but because he is trying to find his male constituency an entry-level position.
