Another strength of plastic bags over paper bags is that plastic bags are much more reusable.

What about the poor trees if we use paper bags? And how many bolls of cotton will have to die if we use cloth bags (probably made in China since most of our fabric mills moved overseas years ago!) I say we just all go naked, breath half as many breaths and start eating raw veggies quit drinking beer... probably wouldn't be enough to satisfy Gaia and moonbats though.

Methinks all this equivelating to the Holocaust is a ploy to gradually desensitize and trivialize it, so that when the next round happens in Eurabia, no one will care.

Hm.. another thing to add to my list of "things liberals compare to the holocaust."

Along with: Denying global warming, denying evolution, and ironically enough, denying that Israel is committing a modern day holocaust in the "palestinian" territories.

I guess it's an indication of the mindset of liberals.. oops "progressyves" that these things are all comparable to killing 6 million Jooooooohs and almost as many Romany, homosexuals and other miscellaneous non-contributers to the glorious all-powerful state.

Scott - I don't think it's a concious attempt to trivialize the holocaust. I think it really, actually means that little to the liberal mindset that it is comparable to a bunch of plastic bags. Liberals are completely unaffected by violence committed in the name of a state, be it Baath's genocide against Kurds, the Soviet oppression of dissidents and minorities, or the progressive revolutionary hero che guevara (spit) putting bullets through the back of people's heads.

It's only nasty, icky mean violence that bothers them. Like Bushitler's fascist gestapo killing al qaeda members in Iraq, or the IDF taking out Hamas leaders. When it's the all-knowing, all-loving, all-wise collectivist state doing the murdering it's justifiable for the greater good.

And I thought PETA's comparing animal consumption to the Holocaust was bad...amazing how these folks continue to sink to the next lowest level.

I guess if you put a plastic bag over a Moonbats head.... oh never mind.

So their logic is that we should act like Nazis to avoid being compared to Nazis. Liberal logic at work.
