Australian Liberal Party Leader Survives Seat-Sniffing Confession
Liberals certainly do have some interesting proclivities. Troy Buswell of the Liberal Party has survived a challenge to his position as Western Australian Opposition Leader after admitting to sniffing the chair of a female colleague.
Grovels a chastised Buswell:
I'm certainly focused on making sure that I improve my behavior as required.
Fortunately for Buttsmell, his loyal wife defends his seat-sniffing indiscretion. But former Liberal Party lead Paul Omodei warns there are more Buswell revelations to come.
Buswell is also known to have chased the same female colleague around his office on his hands and knees. No doubt Slick Willie feels his pain.

Sorry, anonymous, you got us!
I hope you recognize that our misunderstanding was not malicious, but that it was the sexual perversion that led to the natural confusion.
Maybe we need to put out a memo to make sure that all conservatives are clear that this is the one area where we will continue to expect to see liberal leadership.

So, Anony-mouse... what exactly are you contradicting? When McCain gets slammed here, are you gonna say "hahaha...morons, McCain is a Republican."?

"Socially, the Liberal Party is a conservative party, although it has a minority socially liberal wing. "
Mr. Buttsmell is probably a closet member of the liberal wing of the party. Sort of like John McCain and the Republicans.

Question is, did he inhale? Or did he just bask in the aroma?

I wonder if he smokes cigars too??? LOL!!!

LOL! That's true.
When "conservative" politicians prove to be just as perverted as their liberal counterparts, who do you trust? This Buttsmell guy, Mark Foley, David "Sh*tter" Vitter, Jeff Gannon, and Larry Craig are all a disgrace, and so is the Right for tolerating them.
But I guess it isn't surprising that he has such perversions, considering what he's married to.

Ah, but here's the dilemma. Is he a pervert rightly exposed, or a man being nailed to the crucifix of political correctness? Isn't the narrative of sexual harrassment the domain of the moonbats?

I'm from New South Wales, which is 4000 klm from Perth WA. Compare New York to LA.... anyway, unfortunately the State Liberal parties (conservatives) always seem to implode. Funny thing is that the new Labor Prime Minister has a drunken night out but is considered 'just one of the boys..'.
"Mr Rudd has apologised but said he has little recollection of what happened in the strip club, because he had had too much to drink. "

Given the butt sniffing aspect of the story I think Van's oversight of the Liberal party's affiliation is fairly easy to understand.
Aussie-John - It's always interesting to note the difference in reactions when an actualy liberal (ie labour or greens in aus, dems in US) is caught out in some kind of perversion; To the left it's evidence of a "smear campaign," dirt digging, and oh wait there was a conservative politician who did something like that too so I'm rubber you're glue..
When a conservative pol is caught out in something so sordid conservatives call him a sicko and then turn it into an internet meme that we spend the next year laughing about.
Something tells me one of those mindsets is healthier than the other, can't imagine which.

also interesting to note is that little is made in the media of WA labor prime minister's little incident in which he allegedly pulled up a colleague's shirt and checked out her chest at a karaoke party.. a little more serious violation of decorum than a propensity for sniffing chairs, you'd think

He got high on CRACK.
