Able-Bodied White Males Need Not Apply

AT&T recognizes the importance of diversity, blah blah blah, and therefore discriminates against suppliers on the basis of race, gender, and disability.

Those officially listed as targeted for preferences include Women Business Enterprises, Minority Business Enterprises, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, Asian-Pacific Americans, Asian-Indian Americans, and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises. Wordy definitions are given for each privileged group.

It would save a lot of verbiage if AT&T just stated, "We don't do business with able-bodied white males." But then homosexual able-bodied white males would probably sue.

If only the idiots who implement policies like this could see the obvious point that is is THEY who are institutionalizing racism.

If you are half Alute, your business partner is 1/4 Japanese, and your other business partner is 1/8 black, are you entitled to preferential treatment by AT&T, or only if that 1/8 black business partner can also provide genetic evidence of Samoan blood? Can't the friekin' fools see how sick this all is?

Why does it supprise everyone that AT&T is only adopting the same Affirmative Action rules that most (if not all) Universities as well as Federal, State and Local Govt entities use to acquisitions.

If you want to have fun, just look up the Federal Acquisition Regulations and all of the associated AA rules that make it impossible for a normal white male company to compete in any type of bidding.

Forget it if it is a small bid contract, below the threshold for real competitive bidding. It will go to the highest bidder with the worst service/quality record because of the need to be 'fair.'

This is costing you millions of tax dollars a day in waste, fraud and abuse.

Most investigations of Miniority Women Owned small companies find that they are just a front, with a partial owner who is a Minority, that does not even know the business or service the company provides.

Whites are less then 75% of the population of America.

Males are about 49%... Straights maybe 99%...

So... straight White Males are less then 1/3rd of the American population. Closer to 1/4 if you limit that to the adults.

As Straight-White-Male-Adults are a clear minority, one would wonder why we own everything, run everything and so dominate every other demographic, the 75% of America officially designated as "victims".

Maybe, and I say this in all modesty as I am only a middle class achiever... maybe it's just because we are better then everyone else?

Perhaps the "victims" would be better served to emulate, rather then denigrate, the winners?

Personally, I prefer able-bodied, straight, white males.... I guess that makes me a racist, eh? Good thing I don't own my own business because I would be in trouble hiring a bunch of able-bodied, straight, while males, but who do ya trust???

If you think this is bad, try WORKING for them. I do. We have all sorts of internal "Diversity & Inclusion" groups.

AT&T Veterans--and this is the only one, I, as a straight white male, can join.

I want to make my own group. Straight Caucasian American Males. SCAM. Maybe I can get in on the free government money?
