I clicked on that link above for UK and pirates. OMFG!!! OMG! Try to envision handing the following two paragraphs to a British Naval officer at any time from William the Conqueror to around 1960:

The people on that bus should be grossly ashamed of themselves...especially if there were any grown men present.

Maybe ..If one of the passengers, or youself, had a concealed weapons permit, you might have felt more comfortable in meeting the assailents eye... Of course under most CWP regulations, you would not have been allowed to comment, lest you would be contributing to the issue. Nevertheless, had he made a move to inflict, in your opinion , grevious bodily harm to you or your companion,you could have used your legally held firearm in self defense. The assailents bravado was due to his perception that no one on the bus had the means to resist or defend oneself. If his happend in NYC , Washington DC or several other non carry cities, well... Suck it up and shame on you for living where your constitutional rights are denied.

The Brits have allowed themselves to be disarmed and emasculated. They no longer have the right nor the tools to resist and protect themselves. And had they, even without weapons, grabbed this guy and subdued him by force they probably would have been charged with interfering with his human rights. London needs a few armed people sending this kind of scum instantly to hell where they belong. We all need to protect ourselves. The governments of the world are not going to do it.

This is why I will never give up my 2nd Amendment rights without a fight. You are left clinging to victim status when the enemies storm the gate.
