Trudie Styler Sting Stinks of Eco-Hypocrisy
Trudie Styler, wife of the bland pop star who calls himself Sting, is famous for two things: 1) her self-righteous environmental preachiness and 2) her massive carbon footprint.
Trudie blames it on her hubby:
"He has a 750-person crew to bring around the world and it is a difficult challenge.
"I would like to think that we both work pretty hard for the rights of indigenous people and for the rights of conservation of the Amazon rainforest, but we do need to get around. It's a difficult one."
Environmental experts labelled Sting's band, The Police, the dirtiest in the world because of the amount of pollution created during last year's reunion tour of the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Sweden, Germany, the UK, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, China and Japan.
Miss Styler failed to mention in Thursday's interview that she and their family joined him on much of it.
She also forgot to add that a cavalcade of horseboxes has been known to travel between their Wiltshire pile, The Lake House, and their Tuscan estate twice a year when the family decamps for the summer.
Or indeed, the fact that the organic food she grows on the Italian-estate has to be transported to London for sale in Selfridges.
She was also accused in a recent tribunal of forcing her chef to travel 100 miles to prepare a bowl of pasta.
But she makes it all up to Gaia by denouncing American food for being "genetically modified."

On a tip from Oiao.

Twin Teachers Guilty in Lesbian Sex Case (CALIFORNIA - of course)
Pulled this off of the Jawa Report - they get credit.
Talking and teaching a GAY AGENDA in CA schools is considered to be PROGRESSIVE! This is discusting!
(Riverside County, California) Arrested in December 2006, twin female high school teachers, 27, and their roommate, 20, all pleaded guilty on Friday in a lesbian sex case involving the molestation of a 16-year-old girl.
The twins, Franca and Antonia Munoz-Juvera, and the roommate, Eileen Valerio, will be sentenced in June.

A crew of 750?
That's enough people to man five WWII Destroyers.

Thank god (Rev Write's God Dambed America type of God) that there are not any Gun Toting and Bitter people in Chicago.....
Logic says there can not be, because.....Chicago has been the utiopia of handgun free society for over 25 years...... However.....oops....
Illegal, oops, Undocumented Handguns in Chicago...
Chicago outlawed handgun sales in 1981. In the past week, there have been 40 shootings
SO, in light of this miserable failure in public safety policy, Chicago wants to make it tougher to own handguns (that already are Illegal - oops, Undocumented Handguns) and make sure that this folly of ignorance is opressed elsewhere in the US.
That way Obama will not have bitter handgun owners to blame on his lack of experience...?
Soon, only Undocumented Aliens will have Undocumented Handguns in the city, but they still will not be sent to jail. That would be profiling.

From the article in the last post......
"We can't take all the guns away," Santiago says. "But what we can do is change the mindset: `If somebody calls me a bitch, I have the right to blow his head off.' They don't know they have a choice. They think that's what they have to do."
How I live, if I call someone a bitch and they pull a handgun, they have about two seconds to aim and fire. End of comment.

Nice spread! If it was mine, I'd keep my mouth shut.
Shoot - I'd be happy in a double-wide on five acres with a few goats, a catfish tank, a full cabinet of ammo, and a church within a few miles.
'Course - I guess I'm a just typical white person.

I could be wrong, but IIRC, Trudy was the one who was a 45 minute drive from the big global warming concert last year (with Madonna) and, instead, took a private helicopter.
To call the Stings "hypocrites", after all their environmental bleating, would barely scratch the surface.

I'll bet she also makes up for it by purchasing carbon credits. But the most important issue (for her anyway) is: Who's house is bigger? Her's or Al Gore's?
Oh, and UN troops sold weapons to DR Congo rebels

Careful, don't get too bitter, you might want to cling to my 'gun' (it's a big 'un) and MY 'religion' (homoeroticus).

Ya gotta love that the biggest hypocrites in the "environmentally friendly" crowd tend to be singers and actors with "carbon footprints" larger than many of the factories they fight to have closed down in the name of Gaia. And they always excuse it with things like buying "carbon credits" or giving money away to charity, as if either of those will magically make the pollution they've created disappear.

If we are facing doom because of man-made global warming, then it seems we need to implement some drastic lifestyle changes. I suggest that a $20 per ticket surcharge be levied against all sales of tickets for all concert, theater, and sporting events. After all, these occasions encourage unneeded transportation and consumption.
I am sure Trudie Styler and others would support this.
