Teenage Scientist Takes on Global Warming Hoax

The global warming hoax is living on borrowed time if not even heavily targeted teenagers will fall for it. Even while lying that "the overwhelming consensus is that humans are causing global warming," NPR admits:

If you're a scientist trying to convince people they are making the world warmer, Kristen Byrnes is your worst nightmare. She's articulate, intelligent, she has a Web site, and one day her people will be running the world. Her people, meaning 16-year-olds.
Kristen's Web site, "Ponder the Maunder," has made her a celebrity among climate skeptics. After she posted a critique of Al Gore's movie An Inconvenient Truth, her Web site got so many hits the family's internet service provider sent them a warning.

Kirsten even got a letter of encouragement from the great Senator James Inhofe (R-OK), who has had the integrity to fight the global warming hoax tooth and nail, while RINOs waffle and cower. Ponder the Maunder is worth a look.

Thanks for the info on Kristen. I'll be going to her website frequently from now on.

Geez, what a gal!! One can spend quite a while at Kristen's site unfurling her careful review of every nook and cranny of the global warming / climate change landscape. Well researched and well written. Her step dad deserves credit too, no doubt. The original science project paper (Ponder the Maunder) should be required reading for denier accusers, MSM flaks, Congressmen and the President.

Does anyone know what a Maunder is?

We will need many more like her to survive all the snake oil sellers, idiots who believe the snake oil salesmen, and the politicians (unfortunately the head RINO Bush is now one of them as well as all three of the top wnat-to-be presidents) who pander to the idiots.

Also include some other good resources for those nasty Deniers out there. You know who you are. And you should be ashamed.

Re: "Does anyone know what a Maunder is?"

Why not try Googling "Maunder"?

Posted by: CharlieDontSurf at April 16, 2008 2:50 PM

Lynn: Refers to the man who discovered the "Maunder Minimum," that is, the 11-year (or 22-year, if you prefer) solar cycle where sun spots and associated flares/prominences wax and wane. At the "Minimum," sun spots are few and far between (I believe we hit the latest minimum in 2000 or thereabouts), and consequently the heat generated by the Sun also is diminished, casuing (with a good bit of lag time) global cooling (dreaded by the Eco-Idiots in the '70's).

We're now approaching the Maximum, and can expect some global warming (all of which is naturally caused), yet for now at least things are still getting colder (this despite all the hot air emanating from algore and his moronic minions)!

Charlie's suggestion to "Google" Maunder or Maunder Minimum is a good one. I usually use Ask.com or DogPile.com, since Google's controllers have gone completely over the anti-American cliff (like the good little liberal lemmings they are), and I have no desire to assist any liberal with making money in any way, shape, manner or form.

The Eco-Idiots, of course, entirely ignore the existence and effect on the Earth of the Sun (Yes, the Sun! Real hard to miss it; you've gotta be purposefully obtuse to accomplish that) in any "discussion" (well, one-sided indoctrination) of anthropogenic global warming (facts are such damned inconvenient things, aren't they?).
