San Francisco Bureaucrats Throw Greed into Overdrive
It takes serious money to fund all those gay pride parades and Fulsome Street public sex exhibits. Fortunately for San Francisco, taxpayers have lots of it. The latest confiscatory scheme: exorbitant fines if one of your recycling bins is visible from the street.
Due to the pointless recycling craze, every home gets three 32-gallon cans. If they are not kept completely out of sight, Mayor Newsom will hit you up for $100. If you have nowhere to put the cans, so much the better when it comes to raising revenue. Also, you have to have the cans off the street by 6 p.m. on collection day. If you're not home from work by 6, that's great — because you'll need to work hard to pay the fines.

I can't get too angry or excited about recycling bins.

That's from Zombie's Folsom Street Parade photos at zombietime.com . And I lived in SF for several years. It is a sewer that awaits an invasion force to return it to the American people. The depth of hatred for the US is obvious from the minute you set foot.

Anti-gun hysteria has reached a fever pitch in the Golden State. The California Assembly is considering a bill (Assembly Bill 2062) this session that, if passed, will have dire consequences for California's law-abiding gun owners.
