Postmodern Moonbat History
What postmodernism has done to art, moonbattery has begun to do to history. Some educators are advancing their goal of deconstructing reality by teaching our kids that Arabs beat Columbus to America:
[T]he Middle East Policy Council published a 540-page book called Arab World Studies Notebook, a teacher's guide for presenting Arab culture to young American students. The text, published five years ago, has a two-page chapter entitled, "Early Muslim Exploration Worldwide: Evidence of Muslims In the New World Before Columbus." The text says Arab Muslim explorers were here in America before Columbus, and married Algonquin Indians. These early marriages produced descendents who, by the 17th century, became Algonquin chiefs, like "Abdul-Rahim and Abdallah Ibn Malik."
As you might expect, these fantasies are the creation of the Muslim wing of our moonbat fifth column:
The author and editor of Arab World Studies Notebook is Audrey Park Shabbas, the Teacher Workshop Leader of MEPC's impressive educational program for grades 7-12. Shabbas, a Muslim convert and zealot, is a career advocate of Arabic culture. Executive Director of Arab World And Islamic Resources since 1995, she tirelessly champions the Arab Muslim "cause" in America.
Once again we see that moonbat propagandists have been reading their George Orwell:
He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past.
This is why education has to be taken out of the hands of moonbats, while we still have a future, and while the past is still something that really happened.

Can you blame the Muslims, though?
They have no major accomplishments in their history, that they can point to with pride, so they have to make it up

"...she tirelessly champions the Arab Muslim "cause" in America."
I've seen your "cause" lady, and I'm not ready to live in a third-world version of America run by Hamas and Hezbolla

We have a "newspaper" here in the Airstrip One, I mean The UK, called The Daily Sport....
A few years ago, it claimed to have evidence of a WWII Bomber, Elvis and Hitler found on the dark side of the moon. http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/magazines-newspapers/the-daily-sunday-sport/reviews/
Maybe this is where Audrey Park Shabbas has been doing her research ;)

Profile in Countermoonbattery: scientists in the US have found that Boys prefer playing with cars to dolls because of basic biological differences rather than social pressures.
So, hopefully all of that forced playing with girls' toys, the banning of games like tag, and the policies against drawing pictures of guns will backfire. Despite the moonbats' best efforts, boys are hardwired to like those things and social engineering won't change that.

This is old news. Part of the plan for hoisting the crescent moon flag over the white house.
Just as our laws our derived from arabic law and therefore justifying the implementation of sharia.

Don't forget, we use arabic numbers and arabic ideas which we write down using arab-invented pens on arab-invented paper. Everything is really arabic. We can't even kill ourselves because that would be acknowledging the superiority of arab-invented rope and arab-invented gunpowder and weapons...
Remember when the soviets started claiming they'd invented everything? Alexandrov Geranovich Belofski invented the telephone, according to them. Only now it was really invented by Al Sandar Rahim bin Minaret.
Or whatever.

Actually Todd, the Arabs used to be among the leading thinkers in math, astrology, architecture...then along came this Muhammed dude

Actually,
Chritopher Columbus never reached North America. He died believing he found India, but was actually in the Carribean Islands.
Also,
It was an Italian named Amerigo Vespucci that actually landed in North America.
But if you really want to go back in time a Viking named Leaf Ericson discovered Canada and there is actually evidence now that suggests his party reached all the way south to what is now called Minnesota.
I am sorry if I am preaching to the choir.
I know this is elementary.

V, can you say BORG???? "Resistance is futile, YOU WILL Assimilate!!! Moonbat evolution predicted on Star Trek the Next Generation!! We will all be a part of Obama's Collective.

The Carribean Islands are part of the North American continental plate, so I guess it still counts.
Except for the Vikings who were there 500 years earlier setting up colonies and exploring as far inland as Minnesota (hence football team Minnesota Vikings) and possibly the Chinese even earlier than that as round boat anchors have been found off the west coast. The original native Americans were Chinese too (though China didnt exist when the land bridge to North America was dry land). Then again they say we all came from Africa, so I guess we are all really African Americans (even the white ones). So I guess we all all entitled to reparations from ourselves. So, everyone on a count of 10, take $20 from your left pocket and put it in your right pocket. Problem solved. Um, what was this all about again? LOL!

On a slightly tangential topic, it seems that, in true Orwellian fashion, Oliver Stone will be producing a "biography" of President G.W. Bush. I happened to find a video that shows Oliver Stone speaking with a staff of writers as he prepared the script for this movie.
Very telling.

Likwise V the Koward, if someone rapes and murders women and children in the name of American causes, we can call them "freedom fighters."

HashfanaticFAN,
Those people are prosecuted for committing war crimes.
But we wouldn't expect you to know anything about that seeing that you are retarded.

No? Neither do I... it's in the next edition.

And he named it 'The United States Of VESPUCCIA'!" (From MAD Magizine)

Cease your blasphemy against our Great Yellow Emperor! Everyone, foreign-devil fool or not, knows that the Chinese invented everything of worth in this pathethic, barbarian-infested world!
Mind you, this is not the first time some Muslim apologist tried to subvert history and claim that Muslims found America first...

Could we see a little something called "evidence" to the fact that this happens? I mean real evidence? Undisputable. And when it happens, once you produce "undisputable evidence", could we see "evidence" that it was prosecuted through American jurisprudence??? Just one time I'd like to see some of these wild, leftist claims followed up with some "substantiated facts and real evidence". If you want to "claim it's so, give us proof".
Posted by: HoosierArmyMom at April 9, 2008 7:45 AM
HoosierArmyMom
Liberals accuse anyone who asks for PROOF of being "childish". They are too stupid to realise that the burden of proof is on the ACCUSER in a FREE society, they have been conditioned to think in terms of a TOTALITARIAN society where an accusation is enough for a conviction. It's all part of the "workers' paradise" they are fighting for.
"Oh, are they now,UCA?"
Yes, anony. And I know that that knowlege just KILLS you.

I guess it's time to go back to ignoring those who don't support claims with evidence and facts, eh? That makes them TROLLS after all. I heard Kroger has a sale on Purina Troll Chow this week.

As usual, you are confused (and projecting). It is leftists that that call people that rape and murder in the name of their cause "freedom fighters".
Back on topic, this doesn't surprise me. Public schooling today is simply indoctrination where anything good western civilization is rarely taught. It's just the topics have changed from Moonbat to Muslim.
Posted by: Arthur at April 9, 2008 9:42 PM
first of all Arthur, I can't recall anyone on the left referring to anyone as "freedom fighters". This is exclusively a right wing invented term used to describe anyone who recieves our military funding/support to do our dirty work in far away lands usually populated by brown people.
Secondly, what the rest of you seem to be implying is that no American supported rebel movement has ever been responsible for the murder and/or rape of anyone.
So, for example, when we called Islamic fundamentalists, later known as the Taleban, "freedom fighters" in their quest to defeat the Russian invaders, we were not supporting their murder of less fundamentalist muslims.
When we supported Saddam Hussein in his quest to defeat the Iranians, we were not supporting murderers. When we likewise, funded the Iranians in their quest to defeat the Iraqis, we were not supporting murderers.
When we supported countless rebel groups in South America and called them "freedom fighters" we were not funding murderous gangs.
I could go on and on....

WorldNetDaily - August 23, 2005 in an article by Joe Kovacs. (please note that this statement was also recorded and originally reported on by CBS).
Cindy Sheehan, the so-called Peace Mom seeking a second meeting with President Bush in connection with the Iraq War death of her son, says terrorists killing Americans are freedom fighters."
