Phoenix Mayor Sics Feds on Sheriff Joe for Enforcing Immigration Law
Phil Gordon, the damp rodent posing as Mayor of Phoenix, has it in for legendary Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who insists on enforcing the law, even if it means slowing down the Mexican conquest of Arizona by throwing illegal aliens in jail where they belong. Since Filmstrip Phil would have to stand on his own slumped shoulders to look Sheriff Joe in the naval, he's had to call in reinforcements:
PHOENIX - The mayor wants the FBI to investigate whether the local county sheriff has violated any civil rights laws with his recent high-profile crackdowns on illegal immigrants. […] In an April 4 letter to U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey, Mayor Phil Gordon asked the agency and the Justice Department's civil rights division to examine what he called discriminatory harassment and improper stops, searches, and arrests by sheriff's deputies in Maricopa County, which encompasses the metropolitan area.
Snivels Gordon:
Over the past few weeks, Sheriff Arpaio's actions have infringed on the civil rights of our residents. They have put our residents' well-being, and the well-being of law enforcement officers, at risk.
The latter lie is particularly unconscionable, in light of the deaths of Phoenix police officers like Nick Erfle and Marc Atkinson, who were gunned down by the illegal aliens. They might be alive today if Joe Arpaio wasn't the only one trying to stem the invasion.
Hopefully Phil's attempts to tattle to Mommy Washington will result in nothing more than egg on his repulsively squishy face. ICE officials confirm that Sheriff Joe has been acting in accordance with a formal agreement he has with their office that allows his deputies to enforce immigration laws. They certainly won't be enforced by Jack Harris, Gordon's moonbat toady of a police chief.

He's the sheriff with the tents, right?
He is somewhat of a legend, and his jail has the lowest return rate.
