PetSmart Sued over Infected Liver

Maybe moonbats are right that socialism is inevitable. It won't be long before it's impossible for any private operation to conduct business without being sued out of existence. PetSmart Inc. is now in the crosshairs, for failing to tell customers that hamsters can carry a rare rodent virus.

The federal lawsuit alleges Thomas Magee, 54, and two other organ recipients died after transplants from a woman who had contracted a virus from a hamster she bought at a PetSmart store in Warwick, R.I.

The virus is carried by mice and other rodents too, and only causes flu-like symptoms, unless you have a compromised immune system.

Why is it the fault of a pet store chain that a guy received an infected liver? Because it's a big chain with lots of money.
