Paul Verhoeven Sets Out to Trash Jesus

It isn't getting any easier for Hollyweird to constantly outdo itself for disrespectful tastelessness:
In his upcoming biography of Jesus, "Basic Instinct" director Paul Verhoeven will make the shocking claim that Christ probably was the son of Mary and a Roman soldier who raped her during the Jewish uprising in Galilee, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Catholic League President Bill Donohue responded not by making terror threats or calling for a holy war, but by making fun of Verhoeven for being such an idiot. This is why Tinseltown directors show how daring they are by insulting Christians, not Muslims.
Verhoeven boldly raises his leg on Christianity.
