Muslims Demand Magic Meteor Mean Time
Originally Mohammad was going to have his cult of cutthroats face Jerusalem when they prayed. But Jews refused to take him seriously as a prophet, so in a fit of pique, he changed it to the meteor pagan savages where already worshiping in Mecca.
Today a billion Muslims pray facing the meteor. In Britainistan, graveyards and prison toilets are oriented with the meteor in mind.
Now Muslims are demanding that international time zones be based on the meteor, on the grounds that Mecca's longitude is in perfect alignment with magnetic north. Also, Greenwich Mean Time is a relic of British colonial oppression. Now that it's Muslims who do the oppressing, it must be changed to Mecca Mean Time, or maybe Magic Meteor Mean Time.
I'm guessing liberals will be swayed by the colonial angle.

One of my favorite Moonbats at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette is ranting and raving about the evil MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX. He seems to have poor math skills too.

There is a $2.4 billion figure for 2008-2017 that includes interest which would bring the total to $3 trillion. But even then it includes Afghanistan not just Iraq. But who knows what the world will look like in 2017 - will there be a plague, nuclear war, asteroid impact?
Assuming the CBO estimates are right about the amount spent on Iraq AND Afghanistan, that isnt the whole story because even if we werent in Iraq the soldiers would still be paid, fuel used, weapons used in training, ect. What should be counted is the ADDITIONAL cost of being there. Of course the whole article is Moonbat hysteria to begin with, so I shouldnt be suprised with the wildly exaggerated numbers this goofball presented. Hes an Obama supporter to boot.

There's ignorance. The magnetic pole is constantly moving, so if magnetic and true north are aligned now they weren't ten years ago and they won't be in ten years (in the UK magnetic north is currently changing by about a degree in nine years)
