Moonbat "Peace Bride" Is Raped and Murdered
Here's what happens when the world of moonbattery runs up against the world of reality.
A 33-year old Italian artist, Giuseppina Pasqualino, also known as Pippa Bacca, was found dead in Turkey on Saturday, after having been raped and murdered. Paqualino was hitchhiking towards Israel dressed in a wedding dress in an appeal for peace.
Goofy ideas about international harmony are best confined to college campuses, where they're less likely to get people killed.

On tips from V the K and Matthew B.

Nature abhors no vacuum more than one with ears on each side.
If she went haring off knowing that she was committing suicide, that's one thing. What really bothers me is that in this day and age I have no confidence that ANYONE took her aside and said "Great Idea. I love the symbolism. Way to stick it to those American Imperialist Bastards and their Jew running dogs. Just one thing; you DO know you aren't going to make it to Israel, don't you?" or, for that matter "Why don't you go play on the freeway? It won't hurt as much.".
She was a twit. Too bad. The people around her who knew better (there MUST be some, mustn't there?), but didn't speak up because it wasn't politically correct are swine.

CSP, I think you are right about people not speaking up because it would be un-PC. They wouldn't want to seem "racist" by admitting that the stunt would be dangerous.
Some others are probably so brainwashed that they are actually starting to believe that the US and Israel are dangerous and bad, and everyone else is nice, so long as you are "open-minded" and act hip and cool, everything will be OK.

In one respect, its bad form to point and sneer at someone who was raped and murdered. The lady's poor family has learned that the hard reality of it is there are EVIL people in the world, and no amount of cotton-candy thinking will change that. Unfortunantly, people are more likely to create a conspiricy theory then face facts

Oops. Well, what would any rational, properly raised young woman expect. Especially is Turkey.....
Oh, my Bad, I used rational in the above sentence......
Too bad her 'conversion' to true understanding resulted in her loosing her life.

only slightly less likely, that is..College campuses in America are turning into pretty unsafe places in their own right...in case you hadn't noticed.

I am not surprised that she was alone. Where were all of her trusted, loyal, and brave supporters?

"Where were all of her trusted, loyal, and brave supporters?"
Don'tcha know? They were risking life and limb 'sending her light'.
