Leftist Bigot Mark Morford Craps in Hand, Flings It at Laura Bush

As noted previously, moonbat columnist Mark Morford is the quintessential bigot. Here's the title of his latest disgorgement:

Laura Bush, docile doormat
Behold, the ideal Republican wife: Prim, sexless, nearly useless, lets the men do the real thinkin'. Hot!

She's not a gaudy, loud-mouthed ball-breaker like Shrillary or Tuh-reeza Heinz-Kerry, so she must be a pitiful victim of the heteronormative patriarchy. For being a lady, Laura Bush is denounced as "docile, prudish," a "limp wallflower" with a "dull-as-dishwater personality" — "the very epitome of nice, meek, domestic Republican female."

That's what women are like, out there in non-moonbat country. The bigotry gets thicker. Here's his sneering characterization of the traditional family:

It's not exactly a crime to simply want to be a good mother and housewife (noble and under-respected callings, both), to not seek the spotlight and not hunger for power and influence. And besides, meek, shy girls who want nothing more than to marry the male equivalent of a tub of spackling paste at age 22 and never think for themselves and never inspire anyone to do anything need role models, too.

As a writer for the San Francisco Comical, Morford can make a living finger-painting insulting caricatures of the decent, normal people he imagines himself to be in a position to despite. This helps explain why revelations of Obama's bigotry aren't hurting him much with his base.

A class act, consequently hated by moonbats.

Comments

The term "dipshit" was coined for the Morfords of the world.

"...domestic Republican female..."
"...docile..."

I'm betting Laura could whip his ass while doing her nails.

In that picture she's looking at Morford's penis and laughing.

I've always seen Laura Bush as a strong lady with a lot of class and the brains to know that she wasn't on the ballot when her husband ran for president. Being the First Lady is a job with specific duties and responsiblities and she does it with style and panache.

Thulsa Doom,
ROFLMAO

I almost posted a comment on that article, but then realized I would have to register with the SF Comical. Yek.

It also chaffs me that he mocks Laura's devotion to literacy because it is not "controversial". As if that makes it un-important.

Poor Mark, just like Andrew Sullivan, always a bridesmaid, never a bride

The impotent rage of BDS sufferers strikes again! Unable to touch W, they go after his woman. Pathetic!

What a jerk!
Just because Laura isn't a pretentious, obnoxious hag like Hillary or Teresa, this guy makes it seem like she's some weak Stepford wife or something. Laura acts with dignity, grace, and compassion every time I see her on TV or in the papers.
LOL at Thulsa Doom's post. Though, she'd probably need a microscope with a super- zoom lens to see that!

Sure, eight years in one of the most high-profile positions in the world, a simply staggering opportunity to make use of that power and that "office" to take on at least one serious, needful issue (or 10), and you do not a single thing of interest or inspiration with it? You essentially get handed the keys to the kingdom and all you want to do is knit a nice key cozy for them?

This cuts to the quick of leftism- their central doctrine is to use whatever power you have, to grasp for more, to take advantage, to push the cult agenda, regardless of whether you have any right to do so. Laura Bush doesn't have any official "office". She's the wife of somebody who does- the president, who was elected by popular vote. Nobody voted for Laura Bush. She doesn't have any official power to use.

That doesn't matter to a leftie. They would just use their position as wife of an elected official to try to steamroller more leftism in, a la Madam Clinton. But that's an abuse of democracy.

It's the president that gets elected. Not their spouse or their children. A woman who chooses not to claim power which is not rightfully hers should be applauded, not derided.

You know why Morford hates her? Look at her. She's happy. Morford's a miserable leftist who can't stand anyone not steeped in bitterness, misery, and self-loathing like he is.

I bet he thinks Michelle Obama is da shizznet.

Come on, everyone knows women like Laura are prim and proper in public, but behind closed doors they are wild sex machines - its why George Bush always has that sly smile on his face - he thinking about HER. She probably has a box full of "toys" - whips, chains, ect. and dresses up like Halle Berry in CATWOMAN while wearing spiked heels and thigh high boots once the bedroom door is closed.

So let me get this straight...

A Conservative woman speaks her mind and aggressively pushes her agenda like Malkin or Coulter, and she is a b*itch she-male...

But a Conservative woman is demure and reserved like Lady Bush, and she is a limp wallflower?

Case closed; Liberals are just jealous that Conservative women shave their armpits and are NOT fat or lesbian.

I would love to see George Bush punch Mark Morford's nose down his throat. Punk.

Anon,
A woman like Laura Bush doesn't need "toys" or whips, chains or spike heels to keep a sly smile on her man's face.

Of course, none of Morford's rant explains Mrs. Bush's continued high approval ratings (around 80%).

As First Lady, she is not an elected official (as Ian amply explains). Her responsibilities include hosting state dinners, going on goodwill trips across the world and, if she chooses, supporting a social cause (in Laura's case, literacy, as she is a former school librarian). Lefties find this sort of thing enraging -- that a woman would dare to conform to any sort of traditional role, hence the vitriol spewing from Morford's pen.

Yes, Marky, you're a smart, big boy...women like Laura Bush- a schoolteacher- "never inspire anyone to do anything".

The only thing Laura Bush has done to disappoint me is to not speak out against the outrageous treatment of Cuban librarians who, a few years ago, tried to provide a variety of reading material (something other than government sanctioned propaganda), and have been jailed and tortured for it. To my knowledge, none of the librarian organizations, either here or in Canada, have exactly covered themselves in glory regarding the Cuban prisoners. Mrs. Bush was in a perfect position to at least speak out in a brief commercial, drawing everyone's attention to what is being done, and bring the pressure of international attention to Castro for his actions, but she never did.

Other than that, I've had a very positive opinion of her. Anyone who thinks she's a drip or a wimp should be put in a locked room with her, to tell her that to her face. I wouldn't fancy their chances of coming out unscathed.

Moonbats are blind to the concept of grace.
