Jimmy Carter Plans to Schmooze with Hamas
Jimmy "the Dhimmi" Carter is still conducting his absurd and despicable shadow presidency, with plans to visit the hostile dictatorship Syria, where apparently he will meet with Khaled Meshal, exiled leader of the terror group Hamas.
Former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton comments:
It's about par for the course from President Carter, demonstrating a lack of judgment typical of what he does. To go to Syria to visit Hamas at this point is just an ill-timed, ill-advised decision on his part.
Steve Emerson of the Investigative Project on Terrorism also finds it typical:
I'm not surprised that Carter would do this, as he has been supporting Palestinian extremism for many years.
The objective: to undermine the Bush Administration's policy of isolating Hamas, in hopes of weakening sanctions against the vicious terrorist organization.
Ibrahim Hooper of Hamas's American PR wing CAIR confirms Carter's pernicious motives with some oily gibbering about how the Dhimmi is a true partner for peace — i.e., a committed enemy of the USA, Israel, and non-Muslims in general.
Soon people like Carter could be in charge of our foreign policy again. To get an idea of what this will entail, recall that Iran was a civilized country allied with the USA before Carter's moonbatty policies helped create the current situation.

On a tip from Wiggins.

Carter once reported an encounter with A UFO. Has anyone checked to see if he is actually still a human being?

Jimmy Carter is a pathetic piece of garbage. Thanks for the current Iranian regime carter. If they develop a nuke and use it, I hope you then realize the kind of implications your decisions have.

Yeah, pretty much par for the course for that guy. He actually seems to be getting worse with age.
Slightly OT: Obama is running an ad in PA where he's standing in front of a closed steel mill gibbering about how the government needs to more etc (isn't that always the answer?).
It just so happens that most of those steel mills shut down and/or cut most of their work force during the term of a president with views very similar to Obama's - yep, good ol Dhimmi Carter. Want another round of that? I sure don't.

Shouldn't Carter be in an old folks home instead of flying across the world to suck up to terrorist?

Please keep him.

Carter once reported an encounter with A UFO.
At least we know they weren't hostile. If they were, he'd have given them the keys to the planet by now.

Forest:
When I first read "Obama is running an ad in PA. . . " I read "PA" as "Palestinian Authority" rather than "Pennsylvania."
What is shocking is that--in the split second before my brain did a double-take and corrected my misreading--I was not at all surprised.
The Dems have mainstreamed treason.

I won't say Jimmy is all that bad a guy, but his brother would have made a better president.
Now what's his family gonna say if he's kidnapped and beheaded?

There was a time when Dems like Sam Nunn and Zell Miller came out of Georgia.
There was a time when the Dems considered Carter a liability. You didn't see him fĂȘted by the DNC during the Reagan era or even during GHW Bush's term.
I suppose if sanity is ever to return to the mainstream of the Democratic party, one of the early signs will be some sort of quiet removal of Carter from the public eye.

We used to hang traitors, now it isn't even punishable by jail time! ie Hanoi Jane.
Mike, you got that right, plus if you look really close, most have tossed "Reason" aside and are "mainlining Treason". The new libtard drug of choice.

I have never seen an American President as anti-American as Jimmy Carter.
He left the office of the Presidency almost 28 years ago.
I have no doubt that he does not feel empathy for the down-trodden masses of certain portions of the Arab world, as we all do.
His mistake, as often the case with socialist's and the left is thinking a professed leader of these groups is worth dealing with. His problem as when he was President, is thinking a leader of dubiously limited intelligence represents the masses.

Let's hope that Khalid Meshaal shows JC Himself lengthy hospitality in the Terry Anderson suite. OTOH, JC Himself may be going to Syria to act as a "human shield" for Meshaal in case of Israeli attack.

I wonder if Karter uses kneepads since he's on them so much for Chavez, Castro, and Ahmadinejad.

Carter is nothing more than a white-haired prune in a suit. The man almost single-handedly ruined this country and his buddies are on track to do it all over again. Where is the bus with his name on the bumper? I mean, just look at that picture. The caption should read, "Former President, now hopelessly senile, co-opted and used by HAMAS fellow travelers". Carter is a vile and disgusting traitor to this country.
