Global Warming Hoaxers Discover Natural Variations

Hoaxers are having to spin like whirling dervishes to keep the global warming farce alive in the face of cooling temperatures. Now we're asked to believe that global warming is real, but might not result in warmer temperatures until 2015 due to "natural variations."

There's no reason to think that natural variations don't account for all climate change, which is no more a problem than the fact that the weather yesterday was different from the weather today. But telling us that isn't going to generate any research grants, or justify any tax hikes or expansion of government control.

On a tip from Ian from the EUSSR.

My god, what a crock of shit!!!! So they're basically saying: you won't see any evidence of warming for the next decade, but we all need to stay in a panic and deal with an immense crisis that isn't, actually, happening. Because it could happen. Based on a computer model. Which just showed itself to be wrong for at least the next decade.

When the F are people going to wake up from this global warming nonsense?

and here's my favorite sentence from the article:

"If the model could accurately forecast other variables besides temperature, such as rainfall, it would be increasingly useful, but climate predictions for a decade ahead would always be to some extent uncertain, he added."

Climate predictions a decade ahead would be to some extent uncertain???? How about letting us know whether it'll be hot or cold tomorrow morning, idiot.

How many ellipses within ellipses do they need to keep CO2 at the center of the global warming universe?

Can you imagine the amount of energy we could harness, if only we had the technology to trap spin-power?

And to think Newt Gingrich jumped on board with this stupid non-sense!

Yeah, that was a letdown with Newt. I'm not a huge Newt fan but I respect the guy's candor and integrity, and that portion of his ideas that don't have the words Change or Revolution in them. It seems bizarre for Newt of all people to jump on the hoaxwagon.

Agreed. The claim that warming will resume is the alarmists' attempt to maintain their global warming fantasy in the face of a cooling world. It actually is possible for an oscillation of cold ocean surface water to mask global warming (where an active sun is raising the average temperature of the oceans), and it even happened a mere 60 years ago (between 1940 and 1960), but this is NOT what is happening now.

Instead, we have a very dangerous situation where the cooling effect of a fall off in solar activity is being compounded by cold Pacific and Atlantic oscillations. Warming effects incur negative feedbacks that make them self limiting. Not so with cooling effects, which regularly plunge the world into 100,000 year long ice ages, with the next one due any century now. We should be guarding against this very real danger by pumping out as much greenhouse gas as we can, tailored to patch the infrared “holes” in our greenhouse blanket. My post here.
