Ethnically Privileged Allowed to Tell the Truth

Mentioning the obvious and indisputable fact that Barack Obama owes his present political position to his skin color is like using the forbidden N word. Only the ethnically privileged can do it.

There was an outrage when Geraldine Ferraro said this:

If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman of any color, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.

With typical callousness, Shrillary threw Ferraro under the bus. She took the opportunity to prove she would not tolerate such thought crimes by excommunicating the former VP candidate from her campaign.

Now Bob Johnson, founder of the outlandishly racist Black Entertainment Television says:

What I believe Geraldine Ferraro meant is that if you take a freshman senator from Illinois called "Jerry Smith" and he says I'm going to run for president, would he start off with 90 percent of the black vote? And the answer is, probably not…
Geraldine Ferraro said it right. The problem is, Geraldine Ferraro is white. This campaign has such a hair-trigger on anything racial … it is almost impossible for anybody to say anything.

Johnson also observed that Obama has the support of "the liberal media" — another obvious prerequisite to his success.

The response from that same liberal media was drowned out by the sound of crickets chirping in the distance.

What a privilege to be able to speak the truth without getting taken to the woodshed or worse. Of course, if you say something politically incorrect, you'll be ignored.

Comments

The very idea of Black Entertainment Television is racist. Can you imagine what would happen if someone launched White Entertainment Television?

So its not suprising the found of BET's comments would be ignored.
