Dirty Instruments Plague British Operating Theaters
Britain provides another glimpse of what we have to look forward to when Dems manage to socialize the healthcare sector:
Operating theatres are being thrown into chaos and operations cancelled because of broken, missing or dirty surgical instruments, surgeons say.
The situation has resulted from decontamination being done off-site at "supercenters." The Beeb predictably spins this as the fault of letting free enterprise seep into the system:
The Royal College of Surgeons of England […] said the problems have become worse since cleaning started to be handed over to private firms.
The real problem would seem to be excessive centralization, a typical symptom of socialism, as any survivor of the Soviet Union could tell you.
On a tip from conservativeteen.

Dirty instruments are also a serious problem in music videos. The worst offender is Sarah Bareilles in the "Love Songs" video. Man that piano keyboard looks like it hasnt been cleaned in decades. Ick!
And dont get me started with Phil Collins never draining the spit valve on his saxophone!

I suppose the Ministry of Health (or whatever they call it) was unable to do this work either because it was too expensive or they weren't doing it right either. So now they are hiring others to do it cheap and they're getting bad results.
Out-sourcing tasks on the cheap does not constitute "handing it over to private firms". If health services were really controlled by private firms who had an interest in doing it right, the situation might improve.

Come on! What's a few dirty scalpels compared to FREE health care.
