I'm having a hard time thinking of an organization that does more damage to western civilization than the Beeb. Maybe the UN.

I finally got around to actually reading the article, and it's even flimsier than I expected.

The whole thing appears to be about some study looking for correlations between cosmic rays and cloud cover over the last 20 years. First off, documenting a correlation or non-correlaton between two things is the first step, and only a first step, toward proving a causal relationship. That's where the real work starts. But that doesn't stop people from talking about correlations (or apparent lack thereof) as if it proves something. It doesn't. It's a little better than "predictive" computer modelling, but it still ain't much.

Well, anyway, I don't see what any of that has to do with the global cooling that took place this year.

I've done a little research on magnetic field decay. As the field decays, there is less protection from solar radiation, meaning more UV rays that affect health and climate.
