Al Gore's Computer-Generated Lies

Ninety percent of the ice on the planet is in Antarctica, where it has been thickening. So how have hoaxers like Al Gore been able to convince so many gullible tools that we're all doomed because the ice is melting? One highly successful tactic is using documentary footage consisting of computer-generated scenes from cheesy science fiction movies.

NewsBusters transcribes an ABC News discussion of a scene of calving ice shelves from Gore's schlockumentary A Convenient Lie:

Sam Champion (ABC News): Wait a minute, that shot looks just like the one in the opening credits of "The Day After Tomorrow."
Karen Goulekas (Visual Effects Supervisor): Yeah, that's, that's our shot. That's a fully computer generated shot. There's nothing real in there. […]
Champion: Is it wrong for a documentary to use a fabricated Hollywood shot to make a point, even if there's science behind it? Well, we tried to ask Al Gore and the movie studio, but neither responded to our calls.

Lest you get the idea that ABC News has discovered the concept of honesty, when it posted a video of the segment online, this scene was cut.

This stuff now passes for reality.

Bush was on FOX a bit ago speaking from New Orleans. He hit the nail on the head for our rising fuel and food costs to Congress' fuel policy from 10 years ago. Carbon taxes and limits on oil exploration has caused the rise in prices and dependency on foreign oil.

Other countries are drilling for oil while America is saving polar bears. At least I can sleep better at night. Can't drive anywhere this summer, but I know 10,000 polar bears have it better then me. Thanks moonbats!

This is the crime of the century! It'll be hard to top this, more people are falling for "global warming" even when it's being proved that it's a scam!

Listen you GW advocates, the tempature has gotten COOLER; if you were honest, you would be slapping yourselves on the back and TAKING CREDIT for "preventing the crisis". Instead, your leaders are demanding MORE money and power to "fight global warming". That's all it was really about: MONEY AND POWER.

When will you realise that you're being played for fools?

Was this after he told us we were "addicted" to oil. That destroyed his credibility to speak thoughtfully on the subject. Yes, Congress holds much of the blame, but let's not forget that there is plenty to spread around.

ALGOR Wins! He has pushed the US to accept 3d world standards for the future in energy needs yet the smoke keeps coming outta his mouth and ass.

Meanwhile, the EU is starting to fold (and laugh at the US for our decline to 1900 living conditions)

Despite Climate Worry, Europe Turns to Coal

....European countries are slated to build about 50 coal-fired plants over the next five years, plants that will be in use for the next five decades. .........

In the US, we can't get one permit for a new coal fired plant, least the Power Companies worry about future cripling environmoonbat lawsuits!
