ABC Reports That Men Will Become Extinct
Just as envirokooks envision a world without humans and Obama et al. envision a world without white people, feminazis like to fantasize about a world without men. Genetics professor Bryan Sykes, who encourages these morbid fantasies, has managed to draw attention to himself by declaring:
The Y chromosome is deteriorating and will, in my belief, disappear.
It's the Y chromosome that makes babies male. According to Sykes, 1% of men will have a mutation that reduces their fertility by 10% each generation. The Y chromosome cannot repair itself, so in about 125,000 years there won't be any more men.
Fortunately by then Shrillary and Janet Reno should be able to conceive, if only they keep trying.
On a tip from Oiao.

This is a somewhat old topic I heard about a couple of months ago. The guy is talking BS. While the Y chromosome undergoes many mutations, a lot of them harmful, many of the mutations are beneficial. In short the Y chromosome is way of testing out new ideas and having them separate from the stable DNA of the X chromosome . The idea that leaving male DNA out of reproduction and using only patenogenesis would lead to better society is preposterous. The resulting girls would be so inbred that if they didn't die from birth defects, they would have to be stuck in bubbles. The article's assertion that men are expendable is only true that this expendability is the cost of progress. If men were removed, not only would be best and brightest would be taken out, women would have to start considering themselves expendable, a role they are biologically unfit for.

125,000 years? Why does he care? I thought him and his ilk thought the world would be on fire in twenty years?

Strangely, sexual reproduction has lasted in the natural world for many hundreds of millions of years, entirely without Professor Sykes' help.

Some things are best left to the way "nature" has made them. If sterility is in our future, it will probably be the women who have "trained their bodies" to abort and bodies will adapt to that, and spontaneously abort. It is the downside of evolutionary theory. I personally believe that what God has made, will go on like the energizer bunny and like it always has. Sykes and his ilk are disputable and dumb IMHO.

Dr. Sykes, you're giving away the secret plan. Shut up, already. I need not remind you, you're currently on thin ice as far as more grant money.

Actually, liberals/feminists are more likely to become extinct
