YouTube Pulls Reverend Wright Video
What a surprise: a YouTube video featuring Jeremiah Wright — close associate, spiritual mentor, and "sounding board" to Barack Obama for the last 20 years — has been pulled "due to terms of use violation." The video features the unhinged, America-hating race-hatemonger who has been such a major influence in Obama's life screaming to his frenzied audience:
No no no! Not God bless America! God damn America!
YouTube is owned by overtly left-wing Google, which doesn't want you to know about Reverend Wright, because if you did, you would have to be absolutely depraved to vote for Obama. Look for the mainstream media to follow Google's lead in dropping this down the memory hole as soon as they can get away with it.
It's disturbing enough that Google is using its immense power to censor political information harmful to the radical Left. Even more alarming is that they continue to back Obama, even knowing that behind his cotton candy rhetoric festers an ideology based on a commitment to our country's destruction.
On a tip from Byron.

I highly doubt FOX news is gonna censor it just because youtube has.
For those still living under a rock, FOX news has been playing it non-stop for the past week

That coverges very nicely with the MSM coverage of Obama and his hate-festering preacher. Yesterday's WaPo print edition banished the story to under the fold, within "Election '08" and not as a separate news story, which it surely is. Today's WaPo has decided that the appointment of the head of Georgia Tech to run the Smithsonian was page 1 news, whereas Obama's troubles are nowhere to be found. So, it took the MSM 24 hours to stuff this story down the memory hole.
Hopefully, this time, people will be smart enough to recognize this for the significant newsworth story it is. But, peoples' brains can only process the information those brains receive - a fact the MSM knows all too well.

'Hopefully, this time, people will be smart enough to recognize this for the significant newsworth story it is'
Well many people don't care, hence the popularity of crap like American Idol, but lots do care, hence the popularity of O'Reilly's Factor and Rush Limbaugh's radio show which put AM radio back on the map
A significant story I notice everyone seems to not realize, which I read in liberal Newsday btw, is the EU's recent threats to cut off ties with the US and China because they are not conforming to their ridiculous global warming crap. Whether it's in your consciousnos or not, it is indeed a major event in the world ;)

It's too late for Google to bury this one, but still lame of them to even try.
Reverend White is out there for everyone to see.

He looks pretty much white to me. I've seen darker Italians.

Here is something you must understand. Of course rational Americans would dismiss this racist race baiter in an instant.
But half of America is not rational, especially the young ones influenced by MTV and gangster rappers who diss the USA
LOTS of kids believe this tripe, because their favorite rapper told them so. So they believe this crap about America being the world's biggest terrorist
And so it only adds fuel to their sorry little ignorant fire =(

"A significant story I notice ... is the EU's recent threats to cut off ties with the US and China because they are not conforming to their ridiculous global warming crap."
Yes, I 100 % agree, this story has potential to be the most significant news event in years, and for many years to come. This is the EU flexing its muscles, now that it has subordinated sovereign states and set up a suprastate. The EU is testing the waters to see how far it can push the US to kneel, now that the world has gone multipolar again and the EU feels it is at the top with the US weakened. Global warming is both an excuse for the EU to try out its newfound power, and an issue that people living under EU domination actually believe in, giving the EU popular support while it sees what it can get away with. We have not heard the last of this - this is the very first pitch of a whole new 9 inning game.

Funny how Rev Wright is on Sabbatical, and not available for interview. 'Wright is Wrong' for the Obama camp now.....
Osama Obama realized that Wright needed to go way underground. At least with Obama's people, I assume that they did not take the Clintoon's 'Vince Foster' approach to driving Wright underground.
The funny thing is, though, that a guy like Wright just will not be able to stay quiet for long. His ego and personal hatred for US White People will not allow it.
Could it be that Wright is hanging out at Oprah's school for the girls as a go to ground place?
She is one of his followers you know?

"He looks pretty much white to me. I've seen darker Italians." - Ian
Yeah, I think White has something to prove - like Malcolm X and Farrkhan. Black? Sorta. But they all ended up off the deep end trying to prove how black they are.
Kinda like Hitler (Austrian) trying to be more German than the Germans, or Stalin (Georgian) doing the same in Russia. Or Reinhard Heydrich (?) trying to prove he wasn't Jewish.
Identity politics is just plain evil - especially when it's adherents are insecure about their identity and go to the farthest extremes trying to prove something to everyone.

HOLD THE PRESSES - MSM has to defend its self on stance...
The 'Gauntlet has been slapped in the face of the Media.'
Obama's church accuses media of character assassination
This should keep the topic alive as CNN and especially MSNBC (yes, MSNBC), FOX and others can now report on reporting. You and I both know that the Pundits will go to town this week on analyzing Reporting on Reporting on Wright and the Black Racist Church.

Google prevented me from using adwords to advertise anti-hezbolah t-shirts. Imagine not being able to condemn an organization listed as a terrorist organization by the United States Government.
Google is as lefty as they come

Some have actually tried to equate John Hagees anti-Catholic rants with Obama and his pastor. I guess the fact that John McCain never attended Hagees services or was a member of his congregation not donated money to it escapes some people. How could Obama be a member of Wrights church for 20 years never heard his say such thing as he claims? Impossible. He has to be lying. Anyone who writes in his book what a powerful influence Wright has been in his life and donates tens of thousands of dollars to his church not know he was following a racist and anti-Semite? If this doesnt sink Obama's campaign nothing will.
Still have major issues with McCain, but at least he is not Obama or even Shillary.

Where do guys like you come from? Someone who makes anti-hezbollah (two l's there) t-shirt? "Osama Obama?" "Ridicolous global warming crap"??
Are you rehearsing some SNL script in here?
Where do you live? Where have you studied? What did your parents teach you? This looks like a think tank for the IQ

If you actually put any rational consideration into what YouTube was telling you, that the video "violated the terms of use", you would realize the issue with your assertion that Google is practicing censorship. The YouTube video featuring Wright that was removed was likely a rip directly from a news broadcast -- because it came from a news broadcast, it was probably copyrighted. Anything that infringes on copyright, especially content from those companies with which Google has made express deals, is often very quickly removed from YouTube. Ever try to find an SNL skit on YouTube? It's hard. That's because Google doesn't want to be sued by GE. Or how about Stephen Colbert, or Jon Stewart (not that I expect you guys to be big fans, but it's an example)? This is because Viacom has actually threatened Google with litigation in the past. The video you mentioned was probably a violation of copyright, hence the other poster's ability to find another copy of the Wright video with absolutely no problem. The other copy probably came from a website, or came from some other news agency that doesn't give as much of a shit about copyright. The one that's been removed, however, likely came from a news show that does give a shit.
My two cents.

Rev. Wright never said one racial thing about whites or other minorities. He dissed the US government in general and its treatment of the oppessed. I challenge any of you to find a racial thing he said directly about whites!

WHat is the matter with you? Are you people so desperate to beat on Obama that you're grasping at these pathetic straws.
Here's a few facts for you mouth breathers:
1- The overwhelming majority of the sermons in the media are FACTUAL. With the exception of a few points he's made, the sermons in question are factual.
2- It's true that we've killed hundreds of thousands and the majority of Americans either don't care or revel in our "triumph".
3- It's also true that a dispraportionately large percentage of blacks are in prison, and they suffer harsher punishments for committing crimes than "whites" do.
4- It's true that the government has a history of introducing drugs into black neighborhoods.
5- It's true that the government has done biological testing on unknowing black subjects.
6- It's true that the concept of "blowback is VERY real, and in fact the main reason we're hated in the middle east. (When Paul said it, you mongrels didn't ahve a problem with it).
Finally, in the wake of 9/11, when the "religious" (actually hypocritical) right said that 9/11 was "God's punishment, in effect, god DAMNING America because we aren't bigots against gay people and respect a woman's dominance OVER HER OWN BODY, NOT A SINGLE ON OF YOU MOUTH BREATHING SHEEP COMPLAINED!!!
Spare me your bullshit indignation. Your candidates are feeble. Your ideas are bankrupt. Americans are more able to see right through your desperate lies and slander than ever before, thanks to the honesty of the internet and to a large extent, the promise that Obama's made to the People to work hard to restore America's faith in government and restore Americans respected place in the world, not through fear, but through loyalty to our stated ideals of justice and equality for ALL men, not just the ones the president and his bigoted friends like.

Each man must give an account to God, yes that means you who are posting such awful comments on this board. Please read the bible to see that when you attempt to bring down or harm another that you are bringing generational curses to your own lives. When you see yourselves as high and mighty, you are bringing trouble to your life. Read 1 Samuel to see how Saul pursued David out of his own insecurity. Many of you are no different. For those of you who are judging and distorting and rejoicing in what you think is the misfortunate of another, think back on what has happened in your life since you began living that way? Has your life been full of the joy God promises? Have you had wonderful health? Are your children healthy and a source of joy? Is your worklife free from strife? Is your marriage one of love and peace? If not, think about how you are living and what you are bringing on yourselves. This is not to justified the comments of Hagee or Wright, but to say that we should forgive and focus on the rightness of our own living.

I attend a church pastored by a white man. At times, his dislike for the direction of the country, yes, he blames the Liberals, causes him to say things that I strongly disagree with. At times, his comments seem to shows no mercy. When that happened, I would lean over to my children and say I disagree with that. We would later talk about why I disagreed with the comments. However, I have gone to the church for nearly twenty years. The white pastor before him would sometimes say something similar, but again something with which I disagreed. I am not white and some have questioned why I am at this mostly white conservative church. My response is that I know that only Jesus is perfect, but not a single man. Further, I state that those few firely comments are not the sum of the pastor. Both pastors have demonstrated compassion for the poor and others who are broken. They have shown kindness to my family and my faith has grown under them. I only pray those who are so unforgiving and rejoicing in this "Wrigth matter", will stop looking at the splinter in the eye of another when he or she has a plank in his or her own eye. Some of you see a plank when it is really a splinter if it is somebody you do not like or somebody he or she knows, but either you don't see your own plank or see it as a splinter. If that describes you, please read your bible and repent. If not, you will probably look up one day and regret that you did not. Just as you want to replay the Wright snipet over and over again, your life will be played over on judgment day. I hope review of your life is a good one. You have a choice on how your story ends.
Posted by: Anonymous at March 21, 2008 7:49 PM
Just as anonymous says, do you believe in everything your pastor says? If you agreed and believed everything then your pastor would be a prophet, not a leader or a counsel.
Frankly, unless you were in that church and are black, Wright wasn't talking to you. He was preaching to his church.
My SIL said she doesn't know about Obama anymore. "Did you hear about what his pastor said?" I said, "Did you hear Obama's speech denouncing those words of Wright's and explaining why?"Then my FIL said, "Well, that's just a speech." You know
what? So was Wright's. It was just a speech. What Obama says
and does is more valuable and telling of him than what his
pastor said in part of a sermon.

I watched the Wright sermon in its entirety. Was he not quoting a white senator commenting on 'chickens coming home to roost'. His language may have been colourful but what did he say that was a lie? Was not native Americans deprived of their land? Was the Aficans not brought to America as Slaves? Did not America bomb all those places, such as Vietnam, Grenada, Libya, Panama etc. Is the Israelis not occuping Palestintan land illegally - ask the UN? Did America not trade with Apartheid South Africa? He was pronouncing on the Foreign policy of the American government and not the American people, there is a difference. I believe the reaction to this sermon says more about American society than anything else. How on earth can this man be considered a racist? The truth does hurt but it can and will set you free. God help America. The people are already blessed.
