Will Richard Williams Join Obama Campaign?
After 20 years of mentorship, Barack Obama was forced to terminate Jeremiah Wright's official role as an advisor two weeks ago. Obama must be in dire need of a new sounding board who can impart the sort of wisdom that will unite us so that we can Hope for Change.
I know just the man for the job: Richard Williams, father of the successful tennis stars Venus and Serena. A few of his wise words:
The white man hated me all my life and I hate him. That's no secret. I'm not even an American, it just so happens I was born in America. People are prejudiced in tennis. I don't think Venus or Serena was ever accepted by tennis. They never will be. But if you get some little white no-good trasher in America like Tracy Austin or Chris Evert who cannot hit the ball, they will claim this is great.
If Jeremiah Wright had gone into tennis instead of pseudo-religious leftist demagoguery, he might have said the same.
On a tip from Wiggins.

Speaking of race intolerance a janitor at some junior college in Indianapolis was guilty of racial harrassment for reading a book called Notre Dame vs. the Klan: How the Fighting Irish Defeated the Ku Klux Klan by Todd Tucker. The Affirmative Action Office told him "You demonstrated disdain and insensitivity to your coworkers who repeatedly requested that you refrain from reading the book which has such an inflammatory and offensive topic in their presence ... you used extremely poor judgment by insisting on openly reading the book related to a historically and racially abhorrent subject in the presence of your Black coworkers." They didn't want to know or care about what the book was about.

Orwells thought police are today a reality. If someone pulls out a book titled "Kill White People" - they would instead ask the person where to buy copies in bulk.

Geez Louise!
You would think that defeating the Klan would be a good thing.
Did the janitor make an effort to explain the premise of the book? I guess it was too much trouble for the Affirmative Action Officer to read the book (or at least skim through it). My mind is made up, don't confuse me with facts.
As for Mr. Williams, the MSM has done a good job of covering for him, haven't they!
If Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s grandfather had once attended a Klan meeting, these same folks would attempt to tar Junior with that brush. (I am not saying that Ralph Earnhardt ever did, I was just using that as an example.)
Has it ever dawned on Mr. Williams that if he was right, how would his daughters have ever made gazillions of dollars PLAYING A GAME?

Tying this in with the Planned Babymurder thread from yesterday, Barack Obama: Babies are "punishment" for people who don't have abortions.

wz, that's so ridiculous.
I have a history book I like to read called "Under God," which is about highlighting men and women of faith who helped forge our nation, and also about featuring cautionary tales concerning some of the more regrettable aspects of our nation's history.
It includes a couple segments on the Klan, portraying them as a hateful, unChristian, and deeply evil organization. Yet, I'm sure the Indianapolis P.C. police would want me to be fired for reading it.

Actually wz, it is worse than that. IUPUI is "Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis extension, home of the IU Law School, Med School and Dental School. Not a Jr. College at all!!! I have taken classes there before and I find it absolutely amazing that they are that stupid, but the world seems to be going the way of ancient Rome. Immoral and stupid.

It is sad that anyone can come up in this country and feel so much contempt for it. Hate is a choice, but embracing hate for more than a few moments in time is a committment that once can break like a bad habit, if they really want to.
Unfortunately, I don't think this is the "Change" Obama and his "she devil" wife are talking about.

but of course you can't call the guy a racist for hating whites, now can you? His mouth is just the right size for a tennis ball.
