Vatican Strays into Moonbattery

Archbishop Gianfranco Girotti, described by Roto-Reuters as "the Vatican's number two man in the sometimes murky area of sins and penance," has been keeping up with the times by listing new sins, including "ecological" offenses. This apparently means contributing to the imaginary climate change crisis by emitting dreaded CO2, which we do every time we exhale.
Social and economic injustices also qualify as modern sins per Girotti, so if you've worked hard and created wealth while others sit on their duffs, be sure to ask for penance.
But Girotti also bemoaned that fewer and fewer Catholics go to confession at all.
Maybe the Church could fix that by focusing on our souls, and leaving moonbattery to moonbats.
On a tip from Burning Hot.
