Saddam Financed Dem Propaganda Tour in Iraq
Some idiots are so useful, they warrant payment. For example, when seditious Reps Jim McDermott (D-WA), David Bonior (D-MI), and Mike Thompson (D-CA) traveled to Baghdad to propagandize on behalf of Saddam's terror-supporting, totalitarian regime in the days preceding the war in Iraq, the Iraqi intelligence agency financed the trip.
The three stooges may not have known, but it couldn't have surprised them that Saddam would be willing to pay, since they were clearly there to do his bidding. Still more outrageous is that they were drawing salaries financed by American taxpayers at the time.

Damn that Saddam Hussain! Secretly financing an independent confirmation by U.S. officials proving that he had already unilaterally disarmed! Scandalous!
Much better to make discretely exchange hostages for weapons like Iran did with Reagan. Admit nothing! Hide everything!
Man, I hope we don't make an issue of China's human rights abuses before the Olympics. They own most of our Bush national debt.
