Obama: Babies Are Punishment
The get an idea of the moral depravity personified by Barack Obama, you don't have to listen to the obscenity-laced anti-American rants of his 20-year mentor, Jeremiah Wright. Obama's own words get the message across loud and clear.
Obama on the miracle of childbirth:
Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby.
Imagine learning about "values and morals" from a guy who thinks of children as punishment for not having gotten an abortion.

A troll on another blog once advanced the position that people who oppose abortion were "fundamentalist Christians who want to punish women for having sex by forcing them to have babies."
Looks like another case of left-wing projection at work. The left views children as punishment, the right views them as blessings.
I've adopted two kids the left would have wanted aborted. I hope to adopt again!

"Opposed to parental notification on abortions"
Doesn't he want to be notified if a major medical procedure is performed upon his own daughters when they are under-age?
No?!?

No kidding. I think he'd change his tune pretty quick if they were getting boob jobs. Getting back on topic, I wonder if he realizes that he would view his daughters similarly as punishments had they come at a less opportune time?

Yeah i mean an abortion or a lifelong struggle raising a kid you don't want or can't afford preferably through a forced pregancy, if the right get their very special lovey dovey way...Obama come on man, that's a "blessing". Just... in disguise.

I hope the above is a parody, so I don't have to change my stance on ignoring trolls.

"If they make a mistake..."
Sex makes babies. If you don't want a baby don't have sex. When I was a teenager just about every girl understood this simple fact of biology and had no problem saying nope, not going that far. But if you do make a baby, there is always adoption. What is wrong with adoption? It's better to kill the child than that?

No, Kevin, they only said that to you. Everyone else was getting some.

In all honesty, more people need to get involved with the groups who provide alternatives to abortion, and that includes me. Donations to help pay for medical costs, continuing the education of the mother and the care and feeding of the young women as well I'm sure is needed. More good people volunteering to adopt the children, etc. Oh... and more donations to help pay the volunteers who work tirelessly to help the young women and potential adoptive parents. And then of course helping spread the word so young people know they have another option. Anytime you look for a 15, 16, 17 year old to take time out (9 months) of their lives to do the right thing for an unborn child, I think it is helpful for them to have a safe place where they don't have to worry, have counselling available, and don't have to miss out on a year of school to do it. Maybe I'm niave, but it seems to me that many kids in this situation have limited info, don't trust many people to help them make a very adult decision, and get stuck looking at "zip in, zip out and nobody knows any different". It's for sure nobody tells them that later on in life... they will know.
