NUT Nuts Impose Dhimmitude on British Schools
Britain's National Union of Teachers, aka NUT, doesn't think representatives of the military should be allowed in schools unless they're forced to denounce themselves. But don't go thinking these militant moonbats are closed-minded. They have nothing against Muslim imams coming to speak at public schools. In fact, they insist on it.
Also, meals will have to meet religious requirements, i.e., be halal. Prayer rooms must be provided. Holidays must take into account festivals and special days, presumably meaning Ramadan, Osama bin Laden's birthday, etc. Catholic and Anglican schools would be forbidden from "discriminating" against Muslim students.
In NUT's defense, the numbers do suggest that Islam is becoming Britain's predominant religion — unless moonbattery counts as a religion.

At some point, even the moonbat bureaucrats in England might figure out that teaching the "virtues of Islam" might conflict with teaching little Nigel that "having two daddies is perfectly normal."

What is sad is (FACT) that text book companies change their text book content to the largest customer's standards (California in the USA) and the rest of the customers are forced to accept the PC version of the year text book.
California MoonBat education system is second only to MoonBat Detroit.

Whoa! Hold on there Jack. PA's moonbats are pretty well concentrated on Philadelphia, in and around colleges and in some areas of Pittsburgh. Most of the state is pretty solidly conservative.
But the trend of the white male voters in PA is predictable. PA has an old population and many of it's Democrats are old fashioned union types who are usually somewhat socially conservative and won't go for Obama out of white guilt or to try to look cool to the liberal elites. The better known commodity of the Hilldog is a little more appealing (especially after Rev White and the America-hating wife), but in the end, a bunch of them will vote for McCain in the general election.
