Notre Dame Honors Martin Sheen for His Moonbattery
The University of Notre Dame has granted Tinseltown activist Martin Sheen with a medal to honor his lifelong commitment to moonbattery. A few of the accomplishments the educrats in South Bend saw fit to exalt:
- Appeared in many left-wing films like Apocalypse Now, JFK, The American President, etc.
- Terrified America by playing the President in the NBC series The Left Wing.
- Called Bill Clinton "probably the brightest President of the 20th century."
- Said President Bush "is like a bad comic working the crowd, a moron."
- Got himself arrested numerous times for his infantile behavior at left-wing demonstrations.
- Signed the wacky Not in Our Name statement, denouncing attempts to defend America from Islamic terrorism and accusing the USA of posing the most "grave dangers to the people of the world."
- Participated in protests sponsored by hard-core Stalinists (International ANSWER).
- Joined ultra-radical environmentalist cults like Rainforest Action Network and Earth Island Institute.
- Loudly sided with Marxist Sandinistas against the USA.
Sheen has also denounced America as "a dysfunctional society." Here's his take on the removal of genocidal dictator Saddam Hussein from power:
By some demented form of logic, the men, women and children of Iraq are relegated to "collateral damage" as the dogs of war slouch toward Baghdad.
Those slouching dogs of war are the American troops who defend Sheen's right to be a jackass, and Notre Dame's right to award him medals for it. Fortunately they also defend our right to struggle against the sickness called moonbattery, which has turned both Hollywood and academia against America.

On a tip from Byron.

The duct tape says it all. He keeps his moron-actor mouth shut - there WILL be peace.

I have this knee-jerk reaction when I see any Sheen on TV... I automatically flip to the next channel.

I'd like to see Sheen and Dennis Hopper in a 'smak down.' Hopper would win.
For those of you that think Dennis Hopper is an old hippy, look up his public noted donations - mostly middle of the road and somewhat conserative.
Hho'd a thunk?
And yes, best role was Billy in Easy Riders, though I don't support and stand by the messages of the film on drug use, culture, (well I could go on, but you get the point). Great sound track though.
For all of you Hendrix fans. What if 6 were 9?

Sheen went nuts after he did APOCALYPSE NOW. He hasnt been the same since. He was a decent actor in the 80s and didnt go total Moonbat until the 90s. I think he has some sort of progressive mental disorder that got worse with age.

"Notre Dame..shit...I'm still only in Notre Dame."
Oiao, hey I got my own world to live through, and I ain't gonna copy you!
PS: Wasn't Sheen a Born-again Christian for a time?

**Called Bill Clinton "probably the brightest President of the 20th century."
OK, one has to admit Slick Willie was extremely bright bookwise... but anyone who had the chance to nail Bin Laden and let him get away... has a mental disorder keeping the common sense from kicking in. Apparently it has spread to South Bend too! Lord save us all.

>>Appeared in many left-wing films like Apocalypse Now>>
There is a great scene in that movie that was edited out, the RPB crew happen on a plantation where a former French officer and the former members of his outfit were guarding the place against the VC. They had the French flag flying and swore to protect "their land". It was a great moment, and it's obvious why it was cut out.
The ending they WANTED to do was where Sheen, his crew and Brando would fight to the death against a VC attack as comrades in arms.
