Music to the Eyes
Favorable-unfavorable ratings, from Rasmussen via U.S. News:

Its like a teetertotter: as Osama Obama and Shrillary Rotten go down, up goes McCain.
Yes, McLame is an absolutely awful candidate, as he decisively proved yet again with his speech yesterday, featuring groan-inducing lines like this one on fighting Islamic terrorism, supposedly his strongest point:
In this struggle, scholarships will be far more important than smart bombs.
Yet he is infinitely better than the alternatives at this point. Conservatives lost when Mitt Romney dropped out. Now it's a question of whether we get a relatively moderate liberal, a corrupt socialist, or an adolescent Malcolm X wannabe.
Hat tips: Instapundit, The Corner, Michelle Malkin.

I'm sure the military would love to have a new supply of scholarships to use on the battlefield.

Is McMaverick Blocking the "Enforcement First" Illegal Immigration Bill?.
If the two parties merely had mediocre candidates, this election would be the equivalent of a Stanley Cup between two Canadian teams. It's actually worse than that. It's like a Stanley Cup between two Canadian Teams, and no matter which team wins, my taxes are going to go up and the sovereignty of my country is going to be sold off.

It is true that Romney's political stands may be the most similar to mine as a conservative, but I don't feel he was the best candidate. He proved several times that he put politics in front of his faith, and to me that is not conservative.
He also stated on Meet the Press that an athhiest could be morally richeous. Isn't that a contradictory in terms?

Its going to take an Obama to get a Huckabee.

"In this struggle, scholarships will be far more important than smart bombs." john McCain
Scholarships for what? I hope he's not talking about college scholarships, because that's the last place anyone should try to learn anything about "this struggle".
How about 50 bucks for a couple Ibn Warraq and Robert Spencer books? Our elected officials should be the first ones to get these $50 scholarships.

I look at it this way: this country is screwed no matter which of the three get elected...the only difference is that McCain buys you dinner first.
