Mugabe Admits to Hunger Crisis, Blames the White Man

Leftist dictator Robert Mugabe has finally admitted that Zimbabwe — which features 100,000% inflation and fittingly chairs the U.N.'s Sustainable Development Commission — has a starvation problem. However, he didn't go so far as to admit that the crisis was created when he seized land from Caucasians who knew how to use it, and passed it out to blacks who didn't. As always, it is the white man who is somehow "racist" and to blame.

According to the World Food Program, 45% of Zimbabweans suffer chronic malnourishment due to "poor agricultural policies and a declining economy." Food production has fallen by 70%. Millions have escaped the country.

Ed Morrissey comments on the erstwhile Breadbasket of Africa:

[W]hen the Brits left the former Rhodesia, the farms actually produced enough food to feed Zimbabwe and a few other African nations as well. Zimbabwe was a net exporter of agriculture until Mugabe decided to seize the land and redistribute it[… N]ow the Zimbabweans starve on some of the best land in Africa.
This again proves something Westerners will do well to remember: almost all famine is political. Even weather-created crises usually pass quickly in systems based on stable and free-market economics. When oppressive regimes start making five-year plans and seizing land from proven producers, one can predict with deadly accuracy the starvation that will follow. In that sense, Mugabe differs little from Mao and Stalin.

But the good news is that, unless you believe Mugabe, Whitey isn't causing oppression anymore. He's just shoveling aid money down a bottomless pit of misery.

The white people turned the dirt into racist dirt... that's why the new black landowners can't grow anything.

This is pathetic. Why can't people just play together nice and use their brains once inawhile.

Yeah, well, B. Hussein Obama thinks sending $900 Billion into the trou-de-merde that is Africa is a dandy idea. $900 Bil will buy a lot of Rolls-Royces for Mugabe and his fellow despots.

Muhammed Ali, while in Zaire training for the Foremen fight, stated that he [thanked God everyday that my great-great grandfather was put on that boat to America. Africa is a hell hole.]

"Africa is a hell hole."

Yes, but just think of the small carbon footprint they have. And with Africaners (?) dying in record numbers...it is the perfect place to live "green".

Maybe Hash-head can go to Zimbabwe and fix things and cleanse the evil racist soil from the evil spirits of the WHITE MAN. After all he thinks tribalism is the way to go. Maybe Hash-head can get them to sing Kumbaya, beat some bongo drums and make everything Aok!

Robert Mugabe has now admitted his country is starving but instead of acknowledging his own mistakes he is still blaming white europeans for the catastophe of his own making. He has no choice than to try and convince his people that outsiders are to blame for their object misery, for if they knew the truth they would find a new use for their now idled pitchforks.

Oh and that Darfur thing? Tribalism working like a charm there too. But that must somehow be the fault of the evil white man. Must be. Africans are gently souls that wouldnt hurt a fly.

All of the Ops I did, most of which were in conjunction with supporting the 'Blue Hats,' the UN un-peace keeping thugs were a disaster in Africa.

We would laugh at them when they would demand that we unarm ourselves, and they would not take it further when we refused the only bastion of our own personal security. They knew we would kill them on the spot to EE out of the area if needed.

Anyways, I feel as little 'white guilt' for their self imposed problems as I currently feel for inner-city blacks who create their own misery.

I'll tell you from first hand observations that the majority of the VAST US AID that goes to them is stolen and only supports the corrupt leaders, under the watchfull eyes of the UN, of course.

Industry Tax Breaks Should Be Diverted to 'Hard-Working People,' Clinton Says

Read the last line - pandering to 'Hard Working' tax paying job holders, or 'Hard Working' people who work hard at gaming the welfare system?

I'm confused.

What I'm confused about is if Carpet Bagging Hillary is Pandering to the Illegial Immigrant/Hispanic welfare vote, or the Inner-City 'Who's yos baby's daddy' welfare vote on this one?

REMEMBER - THE CLINTOON administration created and then ignored the DARFUR problem.

In looking at the Zimbabwe disaster, I can only conclude that Ayn Rand was a mistress of understatement. If she had produced a draft of Atlas Shrugs that followed this fiasco closely, she would have thought that no one would believe it.

Look what 'similar' policies have done to Detroit. Uninhabitable by the people who could do it the most good due to socialist, hate whitey programs.

James F,
Ayn Rand didn't believe anyone would believe Atlas Shrugged as she wrote it, yet we see it coming true before our eyes.

The picture of that poor child breaks my heart. May God take vengeance out on the fat and happy and wasteful moonbats of the world. They had their chance to help others, instead, they shirked their personal responsibility and pawned it off on the government.

The picture is harsh, it should pain any decent person. It should remind us that most famines nowadays are politically driven, usually at the hands of Marxists or self-serving officials seeking revenge against "that other tribe" for past issues.

I wonder if the photographer did anything to help that kid. Or did they wait until the buzzard started pecking inorder to get another shot.
