Jack Kevorkian Running for Congress

Jack Kevorkian, aka Dr. Death, is running for Congress in suburban Detroit. From a speech last January at the University of Florida, here are some samples of the remarkable philosophy that would guide Dr. Death's legislative decisions:

You think you're free? You've been duped. You swallowed public propaganda… We have never been a totally free country; despite all the propaganda you've heard [and] the brainwashing you've taken.
I have no respect for the law; none! Because it's corrupt… the law is our enemy. No law can create a crime. […] law is an enemy to rights […] disobeying the law is not a crime … it's just disobeying the law.

Kevorkian opines that America is

no different than Nazi Germany; they were aggressive too, [but] they were more honest about it. See, unfortunately for the Nazis, there was another power that could counteract them, the United States. Who can counteract us? America is like a bull in a china shop. There is no way to fight them. They can do what they want, lie, cheat and steal … and they do.
[…] Why are you hated in the rest of the world? Why? Because they know what you are, but you don't know[…] We're a fascist country you know… I'm not proud to be an American; I'm not proud to be a genocidal aggressor. America is wrong. We are a criminal country… we have a criminal group in Washington, [a] bunch of criminal dictators.

Having spent 8+ years in the slammer for indulging in his hobby of assisting suicides, Dr. Death says he would focus on prison reform. Commentary from Holy Coast.com:

Kevorkian would be perfect for a political job in Michigan. The Democrats have driven the economy to death's door, and now Kevorkian can put it out of its misery.

Dr. Death's independent candidacy might actually benefit the country — if it draws enough votes from Democrats to keep them from taking the seat.

If elected, he can sit next to Dennis Kucinich.

On tips from V the K and Wiggins.

It is odd that a man who has invented a device to kill those with 'lives not worth living' should be comparing anyone else to the National Socialists.

"...I'm not proud to be a genocidal aggressor."

Yes you are.

If Kevorkian gets elected and sits next to Dennis Kucinich, I would advise Rep. Kucinich to not ever complain about having a headache or anything illness, or else he might be hearing "Dennis, I want you to see this nifty new invention. It will take care of all of your aches and pains, forever."

Is it too late to suggest a "Jack Kevorkian / Kwame Kilpatrick" administration in Detroit? I'd love to see the infighting in that office...

Posted by: PabloD at March 12, 2008 4:54 PM

The good mayor may be involved in the death of a stripper. Kevorkian would be a perfect fit in that craphole.

Ummm... isn't there a law against convicted felons holding a congressional office?

Posted by: Panday at March 12, 2008 6:23 PM

Panday,
There isn't a federal law against it (see Alcee Hastings) but there may be state laws.

This nut must have been the ghost writer for Season 2 of the CBS series Jericho where a version of Haliburton nukes a couple dozen American cities, Iran and North Korea to create a version Nazi like police state that tries to take over America. When someone told me about it last summer I checked it out and it seemed pretty good - but when the shows only Conservative was killed off the whole thing took a bizarre turn where every episode is apparently about how evil corporations and conservatives are and how they want to destroy the world starting with America itself. With all the movies/tv shows about evil Americans, Iraq and evil corporations I wonder if Moonbattery is reaching critical mass.

Just some fun moonbattery for a Wednesday night...

Educrats go berserk...

Michael Sheridan was stripped of his title as class vice president, barred from attending an honors student dinner and suspended for a day after buying a bag of Skittles from a classmate.
School spokeswoman Catherine Sullivan-DeCarlo said the New Haven school system banned candy sales in 2003 as part of a districtwide school wellness policy.

Hybrid buses...great idea. Until people start sutting the power off on them for kicks. And then stoning the buses. In San Francisco.

I'm betting Kevorkian is responsoible for fewer deaths than Killary.

Good thing I'm not Michael Sheridan's mom, I'd be up on charges. What a stupid thing to do!

"I'm betting Kevorkian is responsoible for fewer deaths than Killary."

Yeah Jimbo... it seems an awful lot of people who annoy, know too much about or stand up to, the Clintons end it dead.

OK, I will state first, that Kevorkian was wrong, playing God and putting elderly people with minor illnesses, and children born with defects at risk of being euthenized just like Roe V Wade has extinguished millions of unborn children, but...
I will say this, the people he supposidly "helped" had to demonstrate that they were suffering and no longer had "quality of life". I lost my mother to cancer, my father had Parkinson's, a close friend died ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), and another has deteriored with MS (Multiple Sclerosis). In all fairness, these are miserable ways to die, so I can understand people seeking "death with dignity" at some point. I don't recall him "euthenizing" anyone because they had "headaches".

With that being said, I don't think he should be allowed to run for office and I think he is dangerous to society because he thinks playing God and taking life is AOK if "He deems it's OK"... not exactly anyone I want influencing decisions that could affect me.

If you were my daughter, hosermom, I'd FIND a fatal, debilitating disease to contract, too.

You simple dumbass.

Hashhead;

Thanks for your valuable contribution to public discourse. We just don't know how we could exist without your wisdom.

Instead of being rude to HoosierArmyMom, why don't you do something constructive like cleaning the goo out of your hashpipe.

When I was a lib and a pothead 20+ years ago, I don't recall being so rude, especially to ladies.

Posted by: on-the-rocks at March 13, 2008 9:00 AM

I find Kervorkian repugnant. You wanna kill yourself, eat a bullet or drink a canister of Drano. Its implicit that you have the right to end your own life, but don't give that power to anyone else, much less a doctor or (::shudder::) the State. Have the guts to go out on your own terms, not some sickass shitbag's who gets off on watching people croak.

In only this will I say Kervorkian is right, we ARE NO LONGER a free society. Laws ARE BAD in many cases. The problem is that deranged fucknut Leftists like him are the reason we are no longer a free society. They were the ones who empowered our government and gave us this nightmare.

Ironically, many people who would have voted for Kevorkian are dead at his hands.

Talk about killing your base...

Nicely put otr, and if it wasn't for idiots like hashmark making their ignorant comments, I would have never wised up to what a cesspool the liberal mindset and Democrat party had turned into. I owe his ilk a debt of gratitude for pointing it out so CLEARLY!!! It doesn't stop me from apprectiating your gentlemanly comment. :-)

Kevorkian wasn't assisting suicides... he was practicing his own .ghoulish experiments

Who the fuck are you? I've had 2 family members begging to die at the end stage of cancer, why the hell shouldn't they have the right to either end or have someone assist in ending their suffering, some of you are so far right winged that you lose your humanity, fuck your morals and beliefs, we'll see what you're saying when you've got pancreatic cancer or lung cancer and you can't even breathe without being in severe pain and all the doctors who are charging you 1,000s a day to be alive can do is pump you full of morphine , we'll see what you say then until then shut up, kevorkian hasn't killed anyone who didn't want it, he hasn't killed people who weren't dying anyway. FUCK I consider myself a conservative but i'm a god damn human first.

Excuse the language but, this one really hits a string with me.
