Is Lettuce Already Back to His Old Tricks?
After the last time John McCain tried to ram through amnesty for the millions of illegal aliens colonizing our country, citizens rejected the treacherous attempt to undermine our sovereignty so resoundingly that he was left for dead politically. Yet he came back, like an unkillable fiend in a horror movie, purring that he had learned his lesson, and that he is now willing to stop undermining the defense of our country from foreign invasion.
Has Lettuce McAmnesty changed his spots? According to Blue Dog Rep. Heath Shuler (D-NC), the answer is a resounding no.
Shuler bucked his own party in an attempt to bring the Secure America through Verification and Enforcement Act to the House floor. The bill would strengthen border security and require employers to verify the status of new employees.
"It was going great until McCain blocked it," Shuler said.
McCain, a U.S. senator from Arizona, called Republicans in Congress and asked them not to sign the petition, Shuler said. He said after McCain's intervention, Republicans in the House were less willing to sign onto the bill.
A McCain spokesman denies everything. I hope the spokesman wasn't Juan Hernandez, the "ethnocentrist, border obliteration activist" who used to head up Mexico's Office of Mexicans Abroad, and was signed up by the McCain campaign as Hispanic Outreach Director.

I wouldnt say "Anybody but McCain" like the sign says. McCain basically represents the status quo where as Obama/Osama would be an absolute nightmare for America and Hillary not much better though in reality Hillary is probably alot like Bill Clinton and wouldnt actually do half of what she says.

Tips on voting:
1. The lesser of two evils, is still an evil.
2. If voting changed anything it would be illegal.
3. No matter who you vote for, the government still gets elected.

If only McCain were a Democrat... I mean, admittedly.

Go out and look at this kewl stats site for just how much illegals are costing us, and prepare to get ill. It is a great site and it even gives you a place to report employers who hire illegals and rat out on your neighbors!!! LOL!!! ICE sponsors the site! *chuckling* It is very useful when you need up to the minute statistics. Maybe I should send it to McCain!

"Colonizing", "treacherous", "sovereignty", and other extreme terms used to describe Mexicans is pretty fucking ridiculous.
When did being "conservative" mean I must hate Mexicans?
They wouldn't come if there were no jobs. Make it illegal to hire illegals and they will stop coming to the USA, "problem solved" as old Ross Perot would say, haha.
Until the government makes it illegal to hire these poor bastards I refuse to hate on people just because they are poor and want to work.
For what it's worth I'm not crazy about Mexicans but I don't see why I'm supposed to hate them either. And spare me the stories of individual Mexicans who are drunkdrivers/rapists/whatever... it's beside the point and just makes this site look more wacko than it rightly should.

A kingdom of heaven or none at all
a kingdom of conscience or none at all

Who said you had to hate Mexicans, Cartman?

Cartman, I understand what you are saying. Our system of immigration is broken and it needs to be fixed, but "amnesty is not an answer", more freebies and tax payer dollars spent isn't going to make any illegal a legal, tax paying citizen either. When people came through Ellis Island, they were checked for contagious diseases and came in only if they were healthy and able to work toward citizenship. It wasn't a perfect system, but taxpayers weren't strapped with supporting them, we didn't take more than our infastructure could support, and there was a record that the people were in fact here. Citizenship will be appreciated more if it is earned, but we have to figure out productive and efficient ways to earn it. I agree with you, the Mexican people many times are to be pitied for the horrible poverty they come from, but also too, we do not want people breaking the law to come here as that is no way to start out. But we must find a way to control it, and secure our borders for the safety of it's citizens. What people resent are the people who are here illegally and making demands for us to change to suit them, and the criminals that come over, etc. If we had an organized way for them to come over either temporarily or permanently, we could reject those who have criminal records, just like they did when Ellis Island was the entry point. If amnesty is granted, we still won't know how many criminals are here, or how many sick people are here, etc. Many of the elements, besides poverty, that 99% come across to get away from.
