Chilling Words

The odds don't look good for Shrillary, but not everyone is convinced we've escaped the disgrace of the Clintons reinfesting the Oval Office. Peggy Noonan finishes a recent WSJ editorial on a chilling note:

I end with a deadly, deadpan prediction from Christopher Hitchens. Hillary is the next president, he told radio's Hugh Hewitt, because, "there's something horrible and undefeatable about people who have no life except the worship of power … people who don't want the meeting to end, the people who just are unstoppable, who only have one focus, no humanity, no character, nothing but the worship of money and power. They win in the end."
It was like Claude Rains summing up the meaning of everything in the film "Lawrence of Arabia": "One of them's mad and the other is wholly unscrupulous." It's the moment when you realize you just heard the truth, the meaning underlying all the drama. "They win in the end." Gave me a shudder.

The Clintons are like Jason Voorhees. No matter how dead he is at the end of the movie, there's always another sequel. If they could survive Slick Willy being impeached by the House for committing multiple felonies while in office, it's hard to believe a rookie like Obambi could kill them so that they actually stay dead.

Not as dead as she looks.

HRC would be preferable to BHO, and not too much worse than Maverick McAmnesty (who's been sounding more like his old liberal self since he wrapped up the nomination).

I believe Hillary is going to be the next POTUS, I have believed that since the beginning of the campaign season, and I will believe that up until election day. Obama is already proving to be a media creation that they will destroy when they decide the time is right, and McCain cannot compete against the Clinton machine once it gets going for real. I predict the Clintons, as President and something like Ambassador to the UN, will spend four years buried in the swamp of Iraq and recession, during which time, hopefully, the Republican Party will stare down into the abyss and be reborn as a winning party with a purpose.

Meanwhile in the UK, they are adopting even more NATSI like (say 1935) socialization tactics.

Give Hilldawg a little partial credit, at least neither she nor her spouse are on record for hating America. (Probably a big part of the reason she doesn't do well with celebrities or the left-wing base.)

Man, I don't know where Van found that photo, but she looks like she's having an Alzheimer's moment.
Man, if I looked as bad as she seems to, I'd refuse to allow cameras to get anywhere near me!
