Atlanta Judge Orders Whites Out of Courtroom

As we see once again, "racism" is a one-way street:

ATLANTA — Judge Marvin Arrington insists he's not a racist; despite ordering white lawyers out of his courtroom on Thursday.

The Fulton County Superior Court judge wanted to have a word with black defendants and "thought his message might have more power if it was delivered to a blacks-only audience."

Try to imagine a white judge ordering blacks out of the courtroom. At least this doesn't happen at White House cabinet meetings — yet.

I guess justice isn't blind.

Judge Marvin: "I came out and saw the defendants, about 99.9 percent Afro-Americans, and some point time I excused some of the lawyers, most of them white, and said to the young people in here 'What in the world are you doing with your lives,'"

Uh Judge, perhaps if less "Afro-Americans" didn't commit crimes you'd see less "Afro-Americans" in your courtroom. How's that for a novel idea. Now apologize to the white folks for being a fuck up.

I'm pretty sure I understand what the judge was trying to do. In a way, he was trying to avoid being accused of racism (against blacks, of course, as we all know that racism against whites can't exist), himself. He thought that if he delivered his "why don't you get your head out of your ass and start living like you have a purpose" message to his fellow black citizens with whites in the room, the defendants would have bristled and refused to listen. They would've taken their usual easy way out and called him (as they call any black person who has made anything of him or herself in something other than hip hop) an "Uncle Tom", and shut themselves off to him.

That said, I agree with VH pointing out what would've happened if the roles were racially reversed. Whites are supposed to spend hours in thoughtful contemplation of the many shades of gray which are, in reality, inherent in multi-race relations. They are meant to bear the entire burden of cultural sensitivity. Everyone else gets to spend their lives on hair trigger alert for any word, phrase or action which could be construed, through whatever tortured means, as "offensive." Nice work, if you can get it.

Now can we order all the blacks out of the room so we can talk to the whites about Obama and some other stuff?

I understand completely what this judge was doing. Any member of a minority will understand that sometimes you have to talk to your own, because your issues are not everybodies issues. The fact that this judge is now a hero in the Black community for doing what he did, points out that it is politically correct whites who are the most upset.
Lest you think I am some sort of liberal apologist, I am absolutely not. But in this case the roles couldn't be reversed because its Black people mostly filling up the jails for Black on Black crime.
