Arun Gandhi Calls on Israel to Give Up and Die

Great news for Israel: Arun Gandhi has come up with a solution to the Muslim hordes psychotically devoted to the destruction of this lonely outpost of democracy. Here goes:

Any nation that remains anchored to the past [i.e., the Holocaust, which Jews ought to just get over already] is unable to move ahead and, especially a nation that believes its survival can only be ensured by weapons and bombs. In Tel Aviv in 2004 I had the opportunity to speak to some Members of Parliament and Peace activists all of whom argued that the wall and the military build-up was necessary to protect the nation and the people. In other words, I asked, you believe that you can create a snake pit — with many deadly snakes in it — and expect to live in the pit secure and alive? What do you mean? they countered. Well, with your superior weapons and armaments and your attitude towards your neighbors would it not be right to say that you are creating a snake pit? How can anyone live peacefully in such an atmosphere? Would it not be better to befriend those who hate you? Can you not reach out and share your technological advancement with your neighbors and build a relationship?

Unless Gandhi is clinically retarded, he understands that any "technological advancement" shared with Arabs by a disarmed Israel would be applied toward driving the last Jew into the sea. Filter out the fatuous nonsense, and his message to Israel is: "Just die already."

Pretentious depravity seems to run in the family. Gandhi's famous granddad Mahatma also recommended that Jews submit to extermination for the greater glory of pacifism.

Arun Gandhi would make a fitting Secretary of State under President Obama.

The reason Gandhi's pacifist strategy worked against the British was because, at heart, the British were steeped in Christian tradition and ethics. The British did not want to shoot a bunch of half-starved people who weren't going to fight back. The Palestinians have no such hinderances in their dealings with the Israelis.
And, in a pre-emptive strike against whomever may wish to attack my post vis-a-vis "Christian tradition and ethics," allow me to say "Don't feed the trolls!!!"

Not at all, Pablo.

V's revisionist history leaves quite a bit to be desired, but your comments are, IMHO, more or less accurate.

I congratulate you for actually speaking from a place where knowledge may actually reside, and pray I will see more of the same from other commenters (although I don't exactly expect it).

Pablo, you must just be thrilled! you've been congratulated by a superior human being!

PabloD, you hit at the heart of the matter. I believe Mohandas Gandhi was a great man, but you are right, his philosophy doesn't work unless you are dealing with rational thought on the part of the agressor.

Wow, HoosierArmyMom and hashfanatic both agree with my post? So this is what the Twilight Zone looks like... I'm so confused!!!

Yes I agree, when you see someone being beaten up by a mugger, you should tell the blood-stained person on the ground "stop being mean and give him what he wants!"

Liberal mode: OFF.

Pablo, it has taken me all day to get over that fact. Still feeling a little "light headed".

I take comfort in the fact that hash and I have strongly divergent views in the post immediately preceeding this one. I can rest assured that the universe hasn't completely come unhinged.

Or imploded for that matter Pablo! He's called me every nasty name he can think of and I take comfort in that, as I don't like it when evil, hatemongering leftards like me. That would be scary!
