Just out of interest, what's the demographics like at these shindigs? Looks like a lot of these people are sliding rapidly towards their dotage while trying to relive the heady days of '68.

I'm generally a pessimist, but OTOH sometimes I wonder if the world just has to sit out the decline and demise of the Boomers. It's easy to see an apparently unstoppable trend (especially sitting here in the UK/EU panopticon) but it may be we're actually at the moonbattery peak. A combo of AGW failing to deliver death from the skies, collapsing economies, sharia spreading like wildfire, energy and food shortages and so on may lead to a new "youth rebellion" of an entirely different and more constructive flava. Who knows?

I had just had a root canal by a local dentist and drove by the site just after noon. There were about 25 people carrying those black “out of Iraq” signs and they hadn’t let the kids out of BHS yet. They had just crossed MLKy Way and were at the corner in between the police yelling “1,2,3,4 we don’t want your f’ing war.” None appeared to be students( CAL or BHS), working stiffs, or local residents, at least not home owners. I was at the stoplight at this time. No code pinkos among them.

Regarding the possibility of our youth starting a movement, one promising trend is that kids get more and more of their news from alternative sources, particularly the web. Unlike the crap that most of the population is spoon fed by the leftstream media, the web gives them the opportunity to discover that there are actually other views. It even encourages them to discuss the issues with other people in forums, something generally not possible with the one-way LSM outlets. Slowly, the LSM is losing its despicable monopoly on the news; let's hope this continues.

I looked at Zombie's pics and watched some video of an earlier protest on another blog. I noticed the Peaceniks were holding pictures of Abu Ghraib. I thought this was curious, considering they were protesting the MARINES, and the Abu Ghraib scandal was comitted by an ARMY RESERVE UNIT. I know this is a small point, but most Marines I know would be offended if you referred to them as soldiers.
All of the soldiers you see in those pictures went to prison (some are probably still there). The scandal was exposed by a soldier. What more do these people want?

I can pinpoint the exact moment I lost all respect for you and your band U2.

We are also working on plans to cut federal funding away from the cancer known as Berkely.

As for the "Only Choice"
As a proud member of the Catholic Church I must say that the only choice is Pro Life. As abortion is murder. So you see, pro-choice doesn't make sense. The only choice is life.
