Welfare State Rots Britons into Uselessness
Britain's moonbattery-induced decline is getting precipitous:
Six million Britons are living in homes where no one has a job and "benefits are a way of life", a report by MPs revealed yesterday.
And they cost the taxpayer nearly £13billion a year in state handouts.
This army of families on benefit — nearly one in six of all households in the country — has been untouched by a decade of Labour's attempts to get them into work, said the Public Accounts Committee.
Four out of five of these homes have no one who is even looking for a job.
Here's an idea for Labour: If you want people to work, why not stop paying them not to work?
The best handout is the incapacity benefit, because it pays more than regular welfare and entails no pressure to find a job. According to a government advisor, two out of three people collecting it are shirkers. About 100,000 drug addicts and alcoholics are collecting benefits on the grounds that their degenerate lifestyle constitutes a disability.
The long-term consequences of this moonbattery will be irreversible, because in an effort to get someone else to do the work, Britons have allowed themselves to be colonized by Muslim immigrants who plan not to assimilate but to displace the island's increasingly useless inhabitants.
[E]vidence has been piling up that millions of Britons have been content to spend entire lives on benefits while four out of every five new jobs have been taken by immigrants.
If the intent was to destroy civilization, the welfare state was a stroke of genius.

The sickest part is that all of the evil imams calling for violent jihad in virtually every mosque in the UK are ALL ON THE DOLE. That is why the UK is considering the proposal to permit polygamous Muslims to receive additional funds for each of their "wives." Britain is indignantly financing its own doom under their tattered "compassion" and "generosity" banner. Check out "America Alone" by Mark Steyn-he pulls the curtain back to reveal to whole disgusting mess.

It's incredible to watch a nation, in the span of a generation, commit suicide with it's eyes wide open every step of the way....just incredible!

Ed: It appears not. Surely there are some few people in positions of at least minimal power who possess a pair and comprehend that GB is on a suicide course -- of course, they are doubtless subjected to the organized self-loathers' unremitting hatred and screams of "racist!," "nativist," and "not politically correct" (meaning not of the New Castrati).
What truly amazes me is that we here, across the pond, continue to allow virtually unrestricted immigration by Muslims who have repeatedly shown NO desire to assimilate, and in fact demonstrate a rabid intention to keep strictly to themselves, all the while "gaming" the system to gain various freebies and intimidate the infidels into giving them everything they want, to include sharia law and self-policing of these Muslim enclaves -- we are witnessing pure colonization here as well as in GB, and very few seem even to be taking notice.
